That is true. I intend to keep playing MvC3 until UMvC3 is released. I see a lot of people just give up because they are not winning. People just do not want to practice, and that is what frustrates me. They want a quick solution to get better, but all you can do it practice and gain experience.

are people still going to play the old one? i only play for fun weather it be from fakku or in person. i'm not the serious competitor type.

It is an all California, all American top 8 for Marvel. Only Puerto Rican Balrog and Noel Brown are not from California.
X-Ray, Mine, and Filipino Champ are from NorCal, Justin Wong, Combofiend, and Viscant are from SoCal. I think it will be Viscant and Justin at Grand Finals with Viscant taking it. However, Justin says he has been working on Anti-Phoenix strategies, so I wonder how that will work for him.

To be honest, that kinda pisses me off, seeing how people booing both of my friends.
But, that's because I love seeing that my friends, players that are from my home town, Sacramento, a part of Nor-Cal that don't get enough competition unlike Davis, Fresno or San Fransisco, made top 8.

A lot of the matches where so epic this year, hated to see clockwork lose though, but he depends on Phoenix a little too much, but his doom is the best, didn't think he was that quick.

Viscant plays a very solid team. Wesker builds tons of meter. He has a good assist with Iron Man/Haggar and his Phoenix is solid. He doesn't do anything fancy or flashy, but he knows what to do and how to do it. He has very solid fundamentals.
