The "Last Game You Beat" Thread

picked it up for free off of PS Plus but I've already beaten Transformers Devastation three times now.

Mafia III. A game I was iffy on, since I didn't care for the first Mafia, and ignored the sequel, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun this game was and was glad I grabbed it. Story and writing is top notch. Atmosphere is fantastic and is executed perfectly. The gameplay is simple and familiar, but it works; gunplay is more fun here than in GTA V, stealth works pretty well to- almost feels like it borrowed from Uncharted's gameplay style. Ignore the critics who call it "repetitive" and "uninspired". Video games by their very nature are reptivie. Uncharted's repetitive, Call of Duty is the definition of repetitive, Metal Gear Solid V is repetitive, etc., and those(except for COD) are all great games. As for being uninspired, not every video game is going to innovate or reinvent the wheel. Not every game can be Batman: Arkham Asylum, or the Last of Us, or a GTA and deliver something new and unseen every time; sometimes sticking to what's familiar and functional just works best. Long and the short, great game, give it a shot.

Rythym Heaven Fever.
I highly reccomend this game if you like rythym games. The visuals are charming as fuck and it's just the most fun I've had this weekend.

Hmm most have been Lost Planet 2, played it coop with a friend of mine. I really liked it. What I love the most about capcom games is how the movement feels. This is something that I've noticed they include it in other games like Dead Rising, Dragon's Dogma and Resident Evil (with others). It feels like there's a lot of weight behind the character. There's a lot of recovery on everything you do and I've come to enjoy that.

How is this anyway? I've watched a couple of reviews but still can't make up my mind on it. Not a fan of the whole sausage party thing, but I've become a lot more curious since watching Kingsglaive. Is it at least better than the FF13 trilogy? I tried the demo but couldn't get into it.

Anyway, beat Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni for the Vita last week. I think it's a prettier version of Senran Kagura, but w/ less smooth gameplay (combos seem a lot less fluid). But the boss fights are pretty fun and you can grope the girls to increase their... uh... you can grope the girls. Can't believe how over-priced the DLC is.

I feel that is lacking a story wise(makes it feel less final fantasy for me) which i think is whats mainly getting it 8/10 on most review sites. It is better then 13 by far though.

Viscera Cleanup Detail. The game doesn't really have an ending, so "beating" the game simply means mastering its mechanics.
Tbh, I've only played 4 maps, but I've already become a master with the mop.
