i'm playing through Yume Miru Kusuri: A Drug That Makes You Dream, man what an emotional rollercoaster

Just finished Hoshizora no Memoria Eternal Heart.

Reading Sword Art Online Light Novel, GOD IT IS SO EPIC!... Oh wait off topic. Well, still reading 初恋１／１, with a little of Venus Blood Empire to stave off the mind boggling love...

Also playing Fate/Stay Night I just finished the Unlimited Blade Works route which I think is the best route so far. I have not yet finished the Heaven's Feel route as I have only started on it. In my opinion the sex scenes were decent but the Story and graphics make up for them.

Finished some hours ago Cross† Channel. It was a pretty good reminder of when I played it the first time and it was pretty enjoyable so I'm satisfied. It seems that I came to like more of dark atospheres in Visual Novels.

Now, I'll go for Koihime Musou since my copy arrived some days ago. Now I should be pretty entertained for a long time since the game is so big.

Currently playing Utawarerumono after having watched the anime version of it. It's... interesting, to say the least, and the strategy part of it is alright. Be back with more after having finished it~

Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai.

Fantastic VN, with an interesting protag that isn't a complete idiot. I love all the characters in this, because many of them reflect one another.

They all Visually reflect each other too. Examples like, glasses, length(presence) of hair, attitude, mind-set(For instance, Touma is a smooth talker that never loses his cool even once, Yamato is the same except he's more of a tsukkomi.)



I personally am in love with this VN, because all the artwork is done beautifully, and the H-scenes are very well done. The only real issue that peeves me to know end. This like MANY VNs, have no real sense of 'danger'. This was strictly comedy romance, with some martial arts thrown in to spice things up. Not once in this series was I really taken back a notch.(Except once in the prolog.)

For instance, in Fate there was constant danger because the fights were normally to the death. In G-Senjou no Maou, the Yakuza Mob-boss that was the protag's father was the danger.
But, in some cases like Yume Miru Kusuri; Mizuki and Nekoko's routes do not use violence as a 'danger' factor. The same can be said about CLANNAD and Little Busters! CLANNAD and LB! use despair as the primary 'danger' factor.

But then again, I might just be plain picky. But these are just my honest thoughts.

Just finished Edelweiss, it was good.

The three main VNs I'm focusing on are Majikoi, Yume Miru Kusuri (just Mizuki's route left) and Utawarerumono.

The voice acting in Utawarerumono is so fucking good.

I just want to roll around on the ground hugging myself every-time I hear Aruru exclaiming "Otou-san!".

On other note, I'm playing 愛妻 【reverse side】 from Dieselmine. NTR lol...

Playing Venus Blood Abyss. The interface was unfortunately less polished than Frontier was, but was quite the fun game to play. The only annoyance I had was that there's no distinction of entrance and exit within a dungeon floor.

Yes. Aruru's voice is beyond cute. I was playing without voice at first but then restarted to play with voice.


Now playing : Steins;gate

Play Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia now, finished Sakura's route, it was pretty decent, now on Rin's.

Finished Abyss. It was really good (despite its horrid looking interface - I still couldn't quite believe it's a 2011 product >_>) even though the protagonist was lacking in characterization. It was also a little disappointing that the heroines do not get their own specific ending (could see that they fixed a lot of that in Frontier though), and the chaos route was - how to say? Bad, lol. The Law route was pretty cool.

Playing My Girlfriend is the President in a very slow pace, Yukino's route is the only one I finished for now. Currently starting Part 2 of Irina's route.

School Days HQ. It's a shame I run it on this little netbook, so during times it can't process the HD cinematic so it freezes mid animation often.

The routes are so in depth, I'm truly enjoying this masterpiece. Shame the protagonist is a complete and utter jack-ass.
