Finished Dengeki Stryker.
It was a nice read. The Heaven and Sky saga's were good. More development and awesome scenes though I still complain about a lack of better character development.
Also, I raged pretty hard when (don't open unless you finished the game)

I vote it a 7.5/10.

Finished Zero Saga of Dengeki Stryker.

First impressions? Just who is this writer? I feel like I'm reading a grade schooler's best fiction work. Good for a grade schooler, but way off the standard for a supposedly 18+ work. Absolutely incomparable to previous works like Kira Kira, Deardrops, basically everything. >_> That was NOT how you make first impressions of your product.

Hopefully Heaven and Sky Saga will be better.

Well I like that it's uncensored though. ^_^

EDIT: Finished the entire thing... Wut? So short. >_> That's basically the only comment I have. WAY TOO SHORT. Even with the future added content - mind you, it's only a SIDE GIRL ROUTE so I'm not even trying to have expectations - they cannot change what's already there. And oh, Stryker Kyu is unbelievably weak lol.



I was expecting a true route where they focus on the Memory Collector as the antagonist. Guess I had expected too much. There were some interesting characters (like the one who can read minds) that I'd like to see development, but well... >_>

It's like a manga who didn't sell well and was forced to end prematurely.

Well, since I was feeling bored yesterday I watched my entire folder of VNs in my external hard-drive (more than 100 there btw) and had a hard time choosing what to play since I wanted something more of the comedy genre or story driven.
After about 15 minutes (yeah, seriously) of trying to decide what to read I ended up with giving another read to Cross Channel since I kind of forgot about it.
I still didn't read Symphonic Rain but I wasn't in the mood for it.

Let's see if I'll appreciate the game even more ^_^

On another note, my Koihime Musou hard copy should arrive around next week so it'll probably be the next Visual Novel that I'll read. I'm also thinking of uploading that version but let's see about that =P

So my copy of School Days came in. =)~ Going for the quickest bad end route I can get.

I'm currently playing My Girlfriend Is the President. It's rather disappointing, compared to how I expected it to be after I learned it isn't like Snow Drop. Yukino's route is too focused on politics (duh) and sex to actually have much good content outside of those two. Puchin's route is nice, but the quality swiftly rots halfway through and has a rather unsatisfying conclusion. There are plenty of times in this route that I wanted to just scream at the main character for being such a sex-crazed idiot throughout the entire thing. Sad, because the first half is the best part of the game. Ran's is too short, and Ell's is...well, I haven't finished it yet.

The game overall has a few WaFFs, but it's usually unable to actually stay serious throughout an entire scene, which seriously hurts it. There's also no Kuon route, which hurts it about as much as its inability to take itself seriously.

Mine was probably about that much as well lol, though there are a lot more VNs I haven't actually touched just because I don't feel like it.

Let's make a list here and see (though I'm too lazy to check my external drive so just the ones already installed but never played):

Demonion, Muv Luv Chronicles 01-03, Dies Arae (going to play next), Gun Katana Jui Yi Pian, Period, Pritanism, Shin Koihime Musou (still at common route), White Album.

And some that I played but lost interest, some that I know are just pure eroge and not really worth the read so I just got the save file, etc etc... >_>

So, currently Playing and first impressions:

Aorio
-I like ad:lib's way of illustrating their Cgs, they make sure it looks it's an anime. The first one they made was "Bokura wa Piacere" was good for a slice-of life story that sounds like K-On. The Chara design from Aorio looks like the ones from BokuTomo and Denpa Onna, and the story revolves around the theater club.

Gurenka
New game by Es:cude that I'm not really hyped about because of the lack of gameplay. It's starts off pretty slow. I honestly like it when they're not doing a mystery VN.

Started Majikoi a few days ago. About to finish my second route. The characters are interesting and I was easily drawn in.

Just finished one of the routes for Captive Market. Two elves and a dog girl getting raped and mindbroken. One of the characters was a dark elf, so of course I had to play the game.

It's really more than I could have asked for, the art is drawn by none other than ShindoL AKA DA HOOTCH.

im on the sky saga route for dengeki stryker. So far the story is pretty good plus the art and animations are done really well. It's refreshing to actually see an animated scene after all the reading. Though the reading doesn't get boring because most of it is action and comedy.

I finished it just now and you're right that was disappointingly short though I did enjoy the game, it was a refreshing play-through (maybe because I've been playing serious themed vn's like yume miru kisuru and muv luv alternative) the sky saga route I think could've ended better with that idea of the Memory Collector as the main antagonist.

Don't mind me, I'm just forever in love with sad, dark, gloomy, suicidal themes to the point of death. =3

I just finished Dengeki Stryker it was a good story but I feel like it could have been better like the writer rushed through it, Now I'm going to read Fate Stay/Night since I never read it before and heard it was pretty good

I just finished Haruka's route in Edelweiss, I thought it was kind of Ehh.

Dengeki Stryker. It's pretty awesome. On Heaven saga right now.

Captive Market. Shit's cash as fuck. Can't seem to get a few scenes even after following the walkthrough.

Reading Fate/Stay Night and recently finished the Fate route. It's very good so far, but Shirou is one of the dumbest protagonists I've ever seen. The sex scenes are very bad and makes the characters nearly completely OOC. But I thought that "Our meats make a soppy sound" was pretty funny.

Ish playing 初恋１／１. The moment I clicked on New Game and the first OST began, it became a total WTF moment for me. That's because the OST is exactly the same as the one in 魔法使いの夜. WTF??
