Playing 淫魔の憂鬱. At first I thought it was just another eroge, but the synopsis intrigued me and I gave it a whirl. It has an unexpectedly good story (though it feels like the writer's new to the VN style of writing) and cool setting.

This is what I usually mean by "don't underestimate eroges" to those "VN elitist" that underestimates them because their eroges.. lol

and this is why I keep playing random eroge. XD
I just like the feeling of finding something not expected to be good.

Playing Umineko. Just to make sure one more time: This VN is truly, completely, utterly completed in 8 episodes is it?

Yes. Though there are fandiscs such as Umineko no Naku Koro ni Hane and Umineko no Naku Koro ni Tsubasa with a few more hints.
But if you want to really know the culprit you have to figure it out for yourself since it isn't directly said who is it.
Prepare yourself for the mindfucks =P

Although from the looks of this case there is most certainly more than 1 culprit, and then there's the possibility of a 'chain' murder etc etc so... >_>

Well, you're as good as I was when reading Umineko. I didn't know if I should believe that there really was some supernatural event related to the murders or if I was being somehow trolled lol My decision was to keep reading to find out so you better do the same.

About Bern, I can't answer right know. Maybe when I read the game again I'll be able to. I'm just waiting for the PS3 tweak to be out.

Played one route of Lewdness: I can't get absorbed in this one, because it's mostly Yuri. Since your main character is a girl. And the one ending I got is that she's enjoying her hardcore sex life with another female character. One thing for sure is It's Mild when compared to Starless. lol

Aside from that I also tried "Please Rape me", quite amusing, but almost all the girls has a "rape" fetish so it's kinda gets repetitive in the long run.
ex:
1st Day
Guy : "I'm gonna rape you, because I know you like it"
girl: "No, It's not like that"

4th day
guy: "I'm gonna rape you again"
girl: "Please rape me"

lol, and this applies to all the female characters. The only difference is their "character job". lol XD

Well, to be honest during that part I kind of gave up thinking and just selected the choice making more sense to me =P I saved before it so if I got the choice wrong I would just load and skip until the choice and then continue. Maybe you could do the same.

Just finished Clannad with 100% completion rate. I've gotta say for an oldie, this is clearly a goodie. A must read for anyone with time to kill.

To be honest though, the true ending of this felt a bit shallow to me. Even the main ending was really nice, everything before--



The reason I didn't like the epilogue of after story was because, there was no follow up on the female roles. Maybe I'm just over-analyzing, because all the female roles even without becoming Tomoya's love interest overcome their problems(Well, all of them except for Kyou..)

Maybe I'm just expecting too much of an epilogue. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice happy ending, but it just leaves me saying, what happens from here? Still a fantastic VN. Wish I had more to read.
