I think the story is too muddled to really merit any guilty responses from readers. The artwork on its face is done well and the sex is staged as a way to highlight everything the author finds sensual about this female character. One grab of the wrists doesn't really constitute "force" when so much of the principal consent/ non-consensual moments happen in the off camera cut aways. We have no idea what happened in the inbetween time after she suggested he'd have to "force" the information out of her and when he begins fucking her. Did she fight him, was she reluctant or afraid, did he exhibit different types of aggression or anger? We don't know because we weren't shown, and not showing us deflated the premise. I was never under the impression that she was in danger or pain or even doing something she never wanted to do. And I'm supposed to believe that wanting to know if a girl he likes was seeing someone else led to all this feverish after-school fucking of that girl's best friend...?!? That withholding the secret meant her "enduring" this and not saying anything about ANYTHING...? Yeah, it was all pretty silly; the writing such as it was just a thin excuse for drawing the scenario he wanted to draw. If it had been staged with all the rape elements visible at first then a gotcha! twist in the last third we'd be having a different conversation but the plot never set that kind of dark, angry mood. I was confused by the narrative because it never added up but I was never conflicted.

Kanna is a smart, cute, kind and lovely girl IMHO.

I guess why he finally said sorry to Kanna is because not only he clearly regrets what he did to her but also he noticed the fact, when Kanna kissed him, that Kanna *still loves him* even after Kanna knew he loves Ayaka so much that he wanted to know who Ayaka is going out with even by raping someone.

By the way I like both Kanna's quick thinking and her kindness to Ayaka. Kanna tries to protect the relationship between Ayaka and her teacher, which would not be seen appropriate if went public. If he knows who, he might try to blackmail the teacher. And, if "who" were not a teacher, Kanna could have let him down immediately by telling him the truth and probably consoled him. Anyway, all what Kanna did was not only for her own love but also for saving Ayaka's love.

Depends on how you define "reverse mind break" for this one. Technically, she didn't break him. It's closer to him breaking under the realization of the situation at hand, while using her as an outlet for his fear, desperation, frustration, and denial. Which only breaks him further; his own doing.

Usually in mind break pieces, the person doing the mind-breaking takes something(s) precious from the victim and they come undone as result. In this case, it was more like him realizing and dealing with the fact that what/who he wanted was already taken from him. That and shame over his own actions in the face of this is ultimately what brought him to a standstill.

The chicky in this piece was just in love with him and used his feelings in order to have her "intimate moment" with him. In a sense, you could say she was desperate too.

I wouldn't say completely fine. I mean, does her daring him count as consent? Because if not, he technically raped her...I mean she wanted it, but the question is, did he realize that from the get-go? I don't think it was established clearly enough, is all I'm saying. Also, the guy is still heartbroken, but upside is Shizumine still loves him and seems to have helped him accept his loss just a little bit in the end...no clue if that will progress. Only other "fine" I could think of, assuming based on one's perspective, is that she's not pressing any charges...but again, debatable.
