Since I don't drive, I don't really take note of the prices.
However, I am curious as to whether the market operated by the various companies in different countries is indeed an oligopoly. In other words, are there only a handful of these petrol companies in your country, and if one firm raises or lowers the price of petrol, will its competitors follow suit?
Lastly, I guess the term differs depending on the country we live in - either gas or petrol.

Last night my wife's water broke and it's been nigh 15 hours since the youngest came into this world. My first two children Mary Jane born at 9:23AM and at 10:04AM James III came to this world. It's been an exhausting 25+ hours and I've little sleep but I wanted to share this with everyone.
From your post, can I assume that you are now a father to a pair of twins?
In any case, I believe you are too excited to sleep. Congratulations all the same! As long as your wife and children are healthy, there is nothing else to worry about.

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!
oh yeah zeker and gambler i forgot :O
I am featured too? That is a pleasant surprise. :)
It is perfectly normal.
Many figurines which I have pre-ordered in the past were released at a later date. However, the important thing is to keep track of your pre-orders so that the shop or online store does not forget about it.
Orchid Seed is one company which had a couple of their products delayed.
Lesson Learned: Patience is a virtue. :eng101:
I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer if the end product turns out to be excellent, if not perfect. :)

It appears that I have yet to reply to this topic.
Personally, my favourite would be Momo Hinamori, simply because she looks like Shinobu. :D
On the other hand, Rangiku Matsumoto isn't such a bad choice either. However, I am pretty sure I have been influenced by all the beautiful hentai artwork and doujins featuring her... cleavage?

It has been a while since I posted related images in some of my replies. Nonetheless, I will leave this here:

Getting back on topic, being a time traveller sounds good. However, can we really change what has already happened in the past? Based on the time travel novels I have read, by changing the past, we could simply be creating another timeline that diverges from the original. In other words, the original universe continues to function the way it did; another parallel world is merely created.
An Esper isn't such a bad occupation either. With powers, we could try to change the world, although there will be instances where such power may corrupt one.

It does like a bad experience for anyone to go through.
However, I also remember reading somewhere that there are pubs, clubs, discos, etc in Japan that do not allow visitors to enter without an invitation. I am not sure if such a rule applies to Japanese, but the location that Neko-chan visited could possibly be one of such establishments.
There may be laws set down to prevent discrimination. Unfortunately, there could also be loopholes in these law. Morever, the culture of a certain district or town may have gone on too long to be changed overnight.
Lastly, the old lady was merely performing her duties and following instructions (unless of course she is in charge of the place). It sounds like a difficult job to turn away customers and obey the management.
On the bright side, you now know how things work at this "White Pole Road". Perhaps it would be advisable to avoid it for the time being and raise awareness among your peers.

Not going ahead with plans to burn copies of the Qur'an is definitely a positive piece of news.
I am sure there are still people upset by the loss of their loved ones during the terrorist attacks years ago. On the other hand, many innocent Muslims have also been the target of hate and racists attacks. It is easy to tell others to forgive, but performing the actual act can be difficult. After all, most of us are only human.

Mod Note: I received a report indicating that some users are spoiling the storyline and other aspects of the game as they may have managed to obtain a copy before gamers in other parts of the world.

Unfortunately, I am locking this thread as quite a number of replies have gone way off-topic. I have written a PM to the thread starter explaining the situation and I hope the other users will understand too.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

This is another potentially sensitive topic, depending on one's personal circumstances. Nonetheless, it would make a good discussion, provided everyone does not get caught up in their own emotions.
Personally, I am against any acts of provocation between groups and/or organizations, intended to incite violence. However, there will always be people who carry out such actions because they may have something to gain from the entire scenario, even more so if things take a turn for the worse.
Perhaps the authorities could step in to ensure that the plan does not go ahead?

to be honest, as probably the most controversial moderator I don't see the reason to hide what you are, or what you do. I haven't done anything that would get me banned/fired and people bitching about me hasn't stopped me from doing my job. It does influence people's opinions of me though *cough gambler*.Indeed, we do not see eye to eye on many issues concerning moderation. However, I do agree with you that it would be better to have staff members performing their duties openly rather than in secret, which does not facilitate transparency.
I still believe all staff members should be open with most, if not all, their actions and decisions.
After seeing the thread entitled "Familiar people around the forums", it reminded me of this very topic which I started a while back.
To a certain extent, you may consider this a bump. Things don't always remain the same forever. Members here today may very well be gone tomorrow. Quietly, I performed a search and many members I once knew are still around, but they seem less active as compared to yesteryear.
Getting back on topic, more members whom are less active today:
- Mike: Here's to hoping that he is doing fine with his bike.
- Spalose: Most probably still a big fan of the Nanoha series.
- Fpod: I will assume that he is busy with real life.
