Why do we even need a mod for a forum section that does not have much posts or visits? I mean, the Global Mods are doing a good job anyway...Though I wouldn't mind Longe being a mod. First mod on Fakku with a -rep.
I think it's because Food and Cooking is such a spam central that is why it needs it. To many threads are created that have been made before.
Hmm... I guess that is the cue to clean up the Food and Cooking section.
Lesson Learned: Everything can be learned as long as one is willing... although certain activities are riskier than others. :eng101:
Personally, I believe it is possible to learn kung fu by oneself, either by reading guidebooks or observing others in action. However, I would not recommend doing so since it is extremely dangerous, both to yourself and others around you. Like I mentioned above, some activities can be self taught, such as languages, but it is always good to have a mentor guiding you along, so you know where your mistakes lie.
For example, would you attempt to parachute without any prior training? I doubt so.

I am sure many members on Fakku would like to have their own children someday. However, there are many things to consider before having one.
First and foremost would be the cost of living. Assuming one's income remain constant, would s/he be able to support the entire family? From what I observe at supermarkets, milk powder does not come cheap these days. Don't forget diapers as well as other baby necessities. Education and its corresponding fees would also come into the picture eventually.
That being said, I hope to have children of my own someday. Which also reminds me that I should starting looking for a significant other and furthering my career.

Since G$ has already been used, then perhaps "G-credits" would be appropriate.
After all, there are e-credits, so why not "G-credits"? :D
P.S. Thank you for the compliment. :)

You people made me work hard today. I had to write plenty of PMs and move quite a number of threads. :D
Getting back on topic, my one word to describe Room101 is "Guidebook"

Getting back on topic, is it really possible to remove drugs out of one's body system, especially if one has been consuming it for a prolonged period of time?

Getting back on topic, it is indeed possible for one to lose his or her virginity at an early age, although very unlikely. Some unfortunate circumstances do come to mind.

- Possibly trapped in the Chat Topics and Forum Games section, with no way to get out? :D

I don't know about the supermarkets in other countries, but over here, there are times when shopping coupons with discounts are issued, usually in the local newspapers. If such a scenario does apply to yourself, perhaps you can use these coupons? It should help you save a bit too.
I guess I can add Japanese to the list of languages I can speak, albeit not very fluently, since I have only been taking up lessons recently.
On another note, although still related, for those who have gone through job interviews and their corresponding interview sheets, do you remember the particular section on "languages you can speak and write"?
I have come across people who can speak a language fluently, but when it comes to writing, they may not be as proficient. Likewise, some people write well, but encounter difficulties speaking.
Personally, there are times when I have difficulties pronouncing certain unfamiliar english terms.

Congratulations on obtaining the librarian position!
I do have a question in mind - are you still studying in the exact same college and you are now working part-time as a librarian? Or have you already graduated, returning to the library with a full-time position?
Nonetheless, we work in the same industry, or at least dealing with publications.

you're not shutting down this thread are ya? ._."Definitely not. In fact, I don't think any rules are being broken here... as of now. Does my reputation of locking and merging threads precede me? ^_^;;
