Although I tend to spend most of my time in the General Discussion, Anime Specific and Manga Specific sections, I will try to make it a point to visit Serious Discussions more often, since quite a number of users are calling for more moderation.
I have to admit that quite a number of "less-than-serious" threads have been appearing in Serious Discussions. Most of them have been moved to their appropriate sections. It is definitely a shame to see Serious Discussions go down a road of decline (if any), as compared to the days where it consisted of mind-provoking topics. Perhaps it is time for a big clean-up?

I disagree with the merging of the General Discussion, Anime Specific and Manga specific sections of the forum. I prefer them to remain the way they are as it provides clear distinction between the various genres.

Perhaps I am being paranoid, but I believe the authorities are never satisfied. Once they score a small victory, they will eventually move on to a bigger kill.
I tend to purchase physical copies of the manga I enjoy, but credit must go to these manga-viewing sites which allow me to gather more information on the respective titles' storylines and artwork, before making a decision.

Getting back on topic, I have not had a slurpee for a very long time. My favourite flavours used to be "Green Apple" and "Grape". Looking back, I think 7-Eleven did a good job in advertising and promoting this product of theirs.

I received reports that this thread might be more suitable for random, but after reading through the replies, I felt that some of the users have put a bit of effort into their posts, so I shall leave it here for now to see how the discussion develops.
Getting back on topic, I don't have a driver's license so I am unable to comment much. However, I would think driving is a lot more useful in a large country than a small one, because it enables one to get around with ease, especially if the public transportation system is not well-devloped.

Here goes my honest opinion:
I still think Random is in a mess, but having developed the Chat and Games section has improved things a little. On the other hand, Serious Discussion seems to be getting quite a bit of "less-than-serious" threads.
Although I cannot be sure due to my irregular log in freqency these days, I see a lot less arguements resulting in members leaving, which was one aspect that disappointed me back then. Like I have always said, all members are valuable and it would be a shame to see them leave due to unhappiness with the majority of the community. Credit must be given to the other staff members for doing a good job too.
I could have sworn my registered date was 07 July 2007 (07/07/07) the last time I checked about a year ago.
In any case, I figured it might be a good day to do a bit of attention whoring. Global Mods are allowed to have fun in the Incoherent Babbling section too... right?
To cut the long story short, I signed up as a member on Fakku 3 years ago. Back then, Fakku was gaining popularity among the hentai community; some praised the site, while others had negative comments. I visited Fakku to see what the fuss is all about and thought that the Admins were doing a good job. Doujins were being uploaded regularly and there was a legendary image section. The least I could do to support the site was to sign up as a member.
If my memory serves me correctly, I only started posting a few months later. For those who wish to view my introduction thread, here it is:

After getting warmed up, I became slightly more active, mostly in the Anime Specific section, though I doubt it was named such back then. What a long way Fakku has come, with more sections being added, contests being held, Mods being appointed, new functions developed, etc.
Looking around the Random, Incoherent Babbling and Chat sections, I have to regretfully admit that I don't know many members (if any at all) very well on Fakku. The amount of free time I have on my hands due to work does not help either. Nonetheless, I still hope to know all you members better, at least engaging in mindless chat rather than formal PMs. Lastly, I may be a Global Mod, but I still require guidance from everyone to better improve as a person. :)
