Since Uruguay will not be playing in the finals, only for the 2nd runner up position, I have no clear favourites between Netherlands, Germany and Spain. However, the conspiracy theorist side of me says that Germany is going to lift the World Cup, especially since they are the ones that almost single-handedly bailed out the Eurozone.
I can't remember much about Netherlands regarding the Eurozone crisis, but Spain was supposedly in debt too.

Although a deliberate handball results in an instant sending off, doing so to prevent a goal in the dying minutes means the team is given another chance. A penalty does not mean a confirmed goal, although I have to admit Ghana was unlucky.
It also appears that Klose desires to break Ronaldo's record of total goals scored in the World Cup finals. Still, David Villa will be in Klose's way of obtaining the top goalscorer achievement.
