Jacob owns Fakku as much as a city owns a park. What makes the park enticing, the activities held there and social interactions, he does not own. If the park is shitty, people will complain to the city.
Unlocked because first of all this is IB. Second, there is no rule against posting links to other sections of the site. In fact, I encourage it.
Those sections need some love.

I have honestly flown about 10 times in the past two months. Of those 10 times, only 2 of them actually requested I use the full body scanner when going through security. Each time I said I wanted to opt out of the scan and they pulled me aside and had a male agent pat me down. It is indeed a thorough pat down but they explain it in detail step by step.
I like neither the pat downs nor the scanners, but I honestly expect them and I have no problem going through it. I have accepted that right now it is part of the process if I want to fly. And getting through security has never taken more than 20 minutes for me, so it doesn't really slow things down.
That said, I do not think the enhanced security is very effective. I think it is more a "peace of mind" thing for regular citizens and it makes it less enticing for terrorists to target planes. Clearly if they wanted to they could do plenty of damage elsewhere, but even with then it is certainly necessary to protect our planes. I just think we could do it in a more effective and less intrusive way.
Also airports have the option to use a private company instead of the TSA, but that company still has to follow the TSA guidelines. I think there are 10 - 12 airports out there that have chosen to do this.
P.S. I am writing this from an airport right now, and they did not request I use the full body scanner when I went through security and I did not have to go through a pat down. Just a standard metal detector.

Almost two months after the contest ended, I have finally chosen a winner! This took a long time because a) I suck at time management, and b) I have been really busy since the contest ended. So I'm sorry this took so long.
That said, user forgottenchild has donated some awesome prizes for this contest and some of the future contests we will be running, so he deserves quite a bit of thanks. For the Pumpkin Carving Contest the 1st place winner gets a copy of Suzukaze no Melt, labeled as "The Best Game" by Getchu, and the second place winner gets a tapestry of Yamabuki Aoi from Tenshin Ranman!
Drum roll... and the 1st place winner is... animepark13!

and the 2nd place winner is... waynoinsano

Thank you to everyone who participated, and congratulations to our winners!

Spoiler:
The uploading system is currently broken due to the server issues we had the last few days. So instead of uploading new stuff I figured I'd take this opportunity to show off some of my personal favorite manga on the site. As well as link to one of the videos I haven't mentioned on the front page before.

Hey, quick question on the Mega Milk shirts:since they appear to be a different style than the others (in terms of shirt fabric), what size would you say equates to a women's L?
I have a Slowbro shirt from you guys that I got in Medium, and that seems to be okay, but since this one looks tighter I was wondering if I should size up. ;-;
It is slightly tighter than your average shirt, it's much more "form fitting".
Like always that downtime was unexpected, and I apologize for it. It seems no matter what hard drives we use they have a habit of dying a fiery death. And apparently I should have made the FAKKU banner the other day read "Four Years Strong (kind of...)".
But hey, on a side note I was going to announce a huge sale we are having on Sanshee. All of our shirts are $10 for one day only, and that is today. That includes the FAKKU shirts, Hen-Tie shirt, and the Mega Milk shirt. My philosophy has always been to be incredibly awesome with everything you do, and worry about making money later. So even though we make almost no money on these shirts, GO BUY THEM THEY ARE ONLY TEN DOLLARS.

Oh and I finally put the F! PVC pin for sale.

Last week we released the new streaming hentai section, and it's only going to get better. I am slowly uploading all of the old videos as well as some new ones. Check below to see what's new. And for everyone who asked, the Games section will be getting fixed up next!

I am happy to see such a mature debate going on, even with the disagreements. It is clear to me just how much all of you care about the community and that is an awesome thing.
I am going to lock this topic, not because it is getting out of hand, because I want us all to move on. To summarize my thoughts I will quote a post I made back in May because I believe it is relevant here.
It has always been my goal to have the forums run with as little moderation as possible. I believe moderators should only step in when something or someone has a negative affect on the community, not when something fails to have a positive affect. I have seen what happens to most forums when they become a circle jerk of moderators and admins doing whatever they please unrestrained, and I will make sure we never reach that point. Therefore moderators here only exercise their powers when the situation calls for it. This view has not always worked perfectly, but it has done a very good job up until now. I never want a moderator to stop being a user of FAKKU first and foremost.
Everything a moderator or administrator does is logged, whether it be: deleting a post, deleting a topic, moving a topic, editing a post, or banning a user. Nothing is ever deleted, only moved or hidden. If you think a moderator is somehow abusing their power all you have to do is bring it to my attention. I am quite easy to get in contact with.
That said I choose my moderators and admins very carefully. Not to sound lame but I want warriors who will fight hard for me if the situation arises. I need to be able to trust them 100% to both have my back and do what they think is best for FAKKU. My time for moderating is limited but I assure you that I am always watching over things from a distance. I may not always agree with every single action another moderator or administrator makes, but I'm OK with that. This is not a tyranny and I like having different opinions. There are very good reasons why I asked each staff member to join the staff.
If someone is moderator of a particular forum it is because I feel they embody the "character" of that forum. Same goes for global moderators but on a larger scale. I only look for specific forum moderators when a particular forum hits a certain activity level and becomes too active for global moderators to handle alone.
Additionally there is no "time limit" on how long a user has to be on the site before I consider them for a staff position. Nikon and Raze both got their jobs after a few months of being members here, Raze probably sooner than that. And the FAKKU staff list is always updated. Most recently TheDarkStarAlchemist has joined our ranks as moderator of the Requests forum. So to think I am not paying attention to things and not choosing new moderators is false, I simply don't see the need for more at the moment.

If you think someone is breaking the rules in a post, it's simple, report the post. A moderator will read it and take action if necessary. Just looked at some of the visitor stats and was pleasantly surprised by the results. The more that Internet Explorer number goes down, the happier I am.
I know for a fact that we still have users visiting the site who were here from the very beginning, 4 years ago. The account creation date doesn't always reflect this accurately because we didn't have forums until the February after the site went online.
That said, how long have you been visiting FAKKU? What are some of your favorite changes we have made? What are some things you miss?

December 1st marked the four year anniversary of FAKKU going online! I honestly never thought we would come this far and I am incredibly thankful to all of you for sticking around so long. I started this site from my dorm room in college on a cold winter night (much like tonight on the East Coast). I put it online not expecting more than a chance to practice some coding (I was a Computer Science major at the time) and work with an interesting color scheme. After a few months, traffic increased exponentially and I had to take out student loans just to pay for the servers. Since then, FAKKU has turned into one of the largest hentai websites in the world. I have had the opportunity to travel to every corner of the United States, Canada, and I have been invited as a guest to conventions from Idaho to Montreal. And I owe all of that to you.
I am incredibly proud of the community that has formed and the moderators and administrators that help oversee it. I could not and would not be here, or be anybody for that matter, without all of you. FAKKU is quite literally the best thing I have done with my life thus far, which is funny... because the best thing I have done is create a porn site (everyone needs to fap right?). I have honestly made some of my best and lifelong friends as a result of FAKKU. Countless people have befriended me at conventions and I am incredibly happy to meet so many of you in person.
If nothing else I want you all to know that anything is possible. If you have an idea, pursue it. If you have a goal, achieve it. I am 24 years old and the best thing I have done is make a hentai website, and I couldn’t be more happy about it.
I love every single one of you. Happy birthday.
