It's a sad sight to see.

Vanguard heavy melee would like to contest that. The vanguard should biotic charge off a cliff into a pit of horny husks. The adept would like to contest the idea that the vanguard would be able to suck more than a singularity.

Krogan solider wins, his strong melee 1 hits a nemesis and 2 or 1 hits almost everything else. It's not about power, it's about style.
Did anyone else notice that Liara got hotter? This is one of those things in the game that Bioware spends the most time improving. On the flip side, looking at Ashley makes me cringe.

You denialists (I'm looking at you casiopao, anesthetize, and psbox) better not get me started on consoles becoming non-gaming entertainment machines. Hollywood is in your ass right now and you can't even feel it.Uhh, what exactly am I in denial over? With exception to being a Bioware fanboy, that is. I mean, I don't play COD, I've joined in on the complaints against developers, namely Capcom and Namco, and I have not once brought up the topic of video game consoles.
The truth is in plain sight, you just don't pay attention.
Son, I am disappoint.
The only important thing that demo taught me was that Wrex would be willing to start a war all so that he could tap dat fresh Krogan pussy.
Also, adept's melee is force push. It has no equal.

That said hollywood realized that the potential of the industry and made the first movie game. The game was E.T. this game is considered by many too be the worst game of all time...This game COULD have been good if the movie industry did not butt in on the development time. The team got only four weeks too make that game hence why it came out so badly. I would also agree that this is the first microwaved game because they simply did not give this game enough time too be made properly. This was when gaming itself started too crumble because crappy after crappy games were being made...Then hollywood lost interest and gaming died...for a moment till the developers eventually got their shit together...
Do you not see the pattern...hollywood being involved check, crappy sequeals that are not better than the original check, games being developed in a half assed way check, and etcetera...I could go on but I do not wanna td ; lr(whatever the hell that means).
Yes! Oh my god, YES! I swear, the gaming industry reeks of hollywood's all-raping cock. Hollywood's worst fear is not being able to fuck something. As you rightly mentioned, at this very moment, hollywood and the gaming industry's offspring taint the very essence of what was once thought of as "good games." Today it's all about more and more sequels, with less and less relevance to what made the novelty of the original so good. Looking at what's popular nowadays, it's hard not to think that activision and ea are riding the big hollywood dick train 24/7.
As further proof that gaming is F-U-C-K fucked, let's take a look at the ultra popular cod series. When cod was tired of never winning WW2, it took a shot at modern combat. We got an okay game, but hollyvision wasn't finished. It shit out modern warfare 2, which was a blatant copy and paste of the original, but with shittier content. The shit mountain that is modern warfare 3 broke the industry sales records and yet it did exactly what modern warfare 2 did, but WORSE. Hollywood being involved: check. Crappy sequeals that are not better than the original: check. Games being developed in a half assed way: check. Et cetera: check. Then there's electronic wood's battlefield series. SAME SHIT, DIFFERENT SERIES!
You denialists (I'm looking at you casiopao, anesthetize, and psbox) better not get me started on consoles becoming non-gaming entertainment machines. Hollywood is in your ass right now and you can't even feel it.
I wondered whether or not the dude was fucked in the head, but then I saw her hands on the last page.

You shut your whore mouth and pay the 10,000 gold fine, but I'd prefer it if you resisted arrest so I can put imperial arrows through your dick.
I'm the thane, I demand you let me go.
I don't think you understand who you're dealing with, boy. Don't mistake me for my weak-kneed pussy counterpart. Here's a helpful guide:

Go ahead, use your thu'um and flee. Wherever you go, I will find you. I apprehend criminals at the speed of light.

I remember practically nothing about the start of my development as a gamer, but what I do remember is that Pokemon was the shit; bitches don't know 'bout my red version.
To me, video games are all about being able to do what I would normally never be able to do; escapism, essentially. In addition to that, games can be a grand mixture of other forms of art, like visual, literary, and performing. It's like games can be the big mob boss in command of his artistic subordinates, telling them to take as much time from people as possible. I also see video games as the best way to live vicariously (as opposed to literature and film), and the best kind of experiences in games have an impact that is either emotional or intellectual; games like Deus Ex, BioShock, Red Dead Redemption (which has the best ending I've ever seen in a game), and the Mass Effect series, to name a few.

I certainly don't expect this to be a disappointment like Dead Island, and based on what a couple of the developers have been saying about their vision for it, I suspect this will be more than "just another zombie game."
They speak about the game's story.
TL;DW: A mind raping fungus jumped to humans and shit hits the fan. The government has created quarantine zones where the uninfected can seek refuge. This quarantine shit is srs bsns, as the military will do thorough scans and don't tolerate bullshit from the citizenry. Having an infection = headshot. 20 years go by. Tensions rise as supplies become scarce and the infection is creeping into the safety zones. Our protagonist is a man who has witnessed the world's change and he himself has changed by choosing the renegade dialogue option more often than not. He is given a job to smuggle a fourteen year-old out of the city, but the military goes into Chris Hansen mode and get all up in his face, using their guns to help him have a seat over here. The dynamic duo escape the city, but since they are no longer in the q-zone, they have to change their class and start a campaign as level 1 Survivalists.
The developers also talk about the interaction they wish to have between the player and other survivors, particularly the ones who shoot first and loot later. The plan is to make enemies seem as realistic as possible by taking into account the psychological effects of engaging someone in possession of a firearm—also taking into account the balance of power; i.e., don't bring a knife to a gun fight—and the impact of seeing their buddies get killed in front of them. Think about how enemies in other games behave exactly the same way despite knowing their allies have been slaughtered. The speakers also claim that getting shot will be more meaningful than what we're used to and that the player will have to think strategically when in combat. Ellie, the main dude's companion, will also be made to seem like she is her own person and not just some burden you drag along as if on a typical escort mission. She will have her own methods of aiding the player in combat situations.
This being a Naughty Dog title, I expect that, like in Uncharted, the story will be character driven and have characters who seem like genuine human beings that you can develop an attachment to as the game progresses. With all that has been claimed, I think that the ideas are great and that this game is an ambitious project, but I realize that these are still just visions for what the end product will have. I eagerly await for the fruits of their labor, because Zeus knows I need to cleanse myself of the regret I have from buying Dead Island.
The game's inspirations.
