Just picked this up today, I like it. Since they've bagged every horrifically amazing animal broadcasted on the olden days of Animal Planet. Feels pretty AoT but I think I like this more.
People should learn that calling an anime good because they had to look at the finer points of the production to make it watchable, means that the show is bad. I should have to look for flaws not dig my way through them.
Just watch SAO decide for yourself.

Fairly new and would like at least 1 friend. My ID is 15530909 on the Amidahara server. Also I have an odd item, looks like a premium ticket, but it's name starts with HR and not sure what it's for. Anyone know?HR ticket, you use it and it guarantees an HR card or better in lottery.
Nothing really special happened this episode, just building suspense for the finale.

Not sure why you cannot have matchmaking it the 6Bungie said that they have no matchmaking for raids because it requires extensive coordination to complete a raid and that matching you with random people who may or may not just constantly screw up the raid for you or not able to commit to the raid because of their duties in life(resulting in the other five just dumping the entire raid halfway in) would just ruin the experience. I can see why Bungie implemented no matchmaking because from what I've seen in Raids there are puzzles and bosses where a single mistake results in the(possibly permanent) death of the entire team and while exhilarating to conquer a challenge that requires a team effort, the words team and effort remain boon and bane of this system.
Bungie has good intentions, but the finer details are going to stop people from even being able to challenge raids let alone experience their unforgiving difficulty. From the sounds of it the prerequisites of finding people who you can raid with are an intimidating barrier alone, because you need people who can be there when you can play, who are competent(adequately skilled and geared) and who you can reliably communicate with. It's hard enough finding one person capable of fulfilling all those requirements let alone five. Unfortunately Destiny doesn't actively support you going out there and finding reliable players to raid with, the option to friend people who made an impression on you is there but nothing deeper than that exists. I'm pretty sure that Bungie wants people to go out on forums, go talk to people in real life, socialize outside of the game to extend your opportunities but having an extensive option in game would not be bad either.
Summary. Most people won't even be able to do raids because it requires a higher level of commitment and preparation, which is bad and good.
On that note I would be more than happy to play with someone assuming they have a Ps3 (because cross-platform is not supported on Destiny). Pm me if you want to play together. Fine with just relaxing really, meeting new people and being able to have fun with them would be enough for me.

What are the rewards for the global events? Finished one and it ended with a Silver Rank or whatever, but I didn't notice any rewards.Rewards for public events are given to you by the Postmaster, go back to the hub and he should give it to you from the mailbox.

Just unlocked the third planet. Thinking about going back to Earth and doing the raid there before continuing.I really like how Venus looks, but traversal wise I think Earth is still better. Kind of disappointed at the Moon, wanted really open spaces with trench-like warfare between the craters. Also no moon jump, just higher jump.
There's a difference between Raids and Strike Missions in Destiny.Raids are not yet implemented six-player missions with no matchmaking(which means you need six friends) and are supposed to be incredibly difficult multi-stage missions that take several days to complete, saving your progress when you leave and wiping your progress after a week has passed. Strikes are three player missions with matchmaking.
I'm putting off PvP until I'm level 18 and feel comfortable with the weapons I have, because I was told you don't get Crucible rewards(Marks) for PvP(except xp) until you hit 18. There are weapon drops from match performance though.
Yeah I complained a lot about the lack of control or diversity in the color palette for character creation, especially the darker colors which you can't toggle the pattern for.
I liked that segment a lot, really clever design and leaping across the room to smack someone felt amazing.
Invite a lot of trolling with that and I know the community isn't flawless because I just got off a Devil Walker run where everyone just ran at Sepik's Prime and tried to melee him. We had to restart that encounter five times.
I've only spent a bit of time in the open world, mostly just rushing straight into hard mode solo when I'm 1-2 levels below the mission to preserve the difficulty curve. It just feels like some boss fights and encounters were designed with a party of players in mind-especially the Siphon Witch boss fight and that's disheartening for people who enjoy playing solo like me.
The checkpoints in this game are really terrible, on the Moon there is a mission where you have three consecutive fights involving two boss fights and if you die to any of them you have to start from the first boss. I went all out at the second stage using up all my ammo, died then just kept dying about seven more times to the first boss because the boss was designed to wear down the player's ammunition stock when I was already swinging my gun around like a bat.
They fixed and made some things worse from the Beta. The pulse rifle is actually usable now, it used to kick so badly that you would be aiming at the sky after a trigger pull. The handcannon looks decent now a good one can three shot a Knight with all headshots. They REALLY need to put an option to toggle sticky aiming on the guns, sniping is practically impossible because the sight keeps getting dragged by the wrong target when they are in clumps. Game is pretty fun though, I haven't gotten to a high enough level to unlock subclass yet but it looks cool.

Sadly my 5 year old PS3 isn't performing as well as I when I bought it. When there's too much shit going on at the same time on the screen, framerate is struggling.Yeah my first Ps3 broke down and I just bought the new generation of Ps3 a year and a half back, imo it's better just to wait for 2nd-3rd generation of the console to come out because there is usually something wrong with the 1st iteration farther down the line.

I'm this close to buying a PS4 for this game. I eventually decided not to until some high profile RPGs comes out. It's on the previous generation of consoles and while pretty ugly on those platforms it still works which is enough for me and let me dodge paying money for a console that has yet to be saturated with games I want to play.

Okay this is much better.
Akame ga Kill has the chance to deviate from that norm, minuscule but a chance as predecessors in the Shonen genre have shown. NGE is Shonen but has heavy Seinen influence and threw concerns such as appealing to it's demographic to out the window(resulting in it's plummeting reputation in that generation) in order to push it's complex adult relationships and themes concerning science and religion. Now I'm not expecting something of that level from Akame ga Kill, but something different isn't impossible simply improbable for Akame ga Kill.
I never said Akame was the one carrying the story of the manga and I acknowledge the fact that Tatsumi is the main male protagonist.
Plot armor is really good way to reel in people into thinking they are safe, it could be really good bait or they'll just roll with it. Time will tell.
1. It's originally from a Novel, which instantly invalids it as once more has significant differences in how it was written when compared how the current manga industry works.
.
You know I didn't skim Legend of the Galactic Heroes to avoid spoilers and now I know about that ]=, well I suppose I should've seen it coming. Once again it's improbable but not impossible for an original manga series to match a work such as a LN that took months to create in a span of a week. SAO for example is easily trumped by Tokyo Ghoul in my opinion.

Aldnoah Zero season 2 confirmed to be released this January in the Winter season.

Not really surprising considering how this season is panning out and the amount of stuff teased but not shown, but still really damn good news.

Rocking soundtrack, good stylized art direction, animation could use work(but passable considering it's current state) and monster girl princesses with a seemingly cantankerous protagonist alluding to some potentially good comedy? Yeah I'm feeling good about this one, keeping tabs on it.

YES THIS EPISODE. SO GOOD.
The gundam japes with the classic beam rifle pose, mecha design and the scream he did. Bay Island, they went there to see firework explosions and there was a random mech fight with big explosions; even Japan recognizes what Michael Bay does. Good laugh this time.
SODDING TRAINS GO BACK TO RAIL WARS AND COCKBLOCK THERE NOT HERE. I WAS HNNGGING SO HARD OVER SCARLET THIS EPISODE.
Next episode alternate dimension where Dandy dates Scarlet? And something tragic happens? In any case it looks good.

You implied that Tatsumi is safe or cannot die(as you've responded to Uzumaki101's statement of "Any of the characters could die at any moment, even Tatsumi") and you now tell me no one implies that. Please rectify.
Regardless of when they met their end and the differences in development of the story, the fact remains that the male protagonist was not safe in the alluded works and that provides a strong example to a situation where the male protagonist is not safe as you have argued against.
Also you switched from the male protagonist to the main protagonist, those can overlap for a main character but the distinction is clear.
Legend of Galactic Heroes. I've not read it and decided not to skim through it to spoil myself but from what others have told me, it fits the bill.

Nah, Tatsumi is also safe since he's the Male protagonist. Anyone else isn't.School Days. Soukou Akki Muramasa. Code Geass. Should I go on?
