Yea that. The ending could have been good, cause everything leading up to it was good.
I also forgot to mention that I really like the Tea-club members. They have very unique characters compared to Rihoko's other friend/classmate who I label as generic friend #1.

Well, I was a little bit concerned watching the last episode of Rihoko's arc today, due to all of the horrible things I've been hearing about it. However, I have my own take on the ending.

Spoiler:
I felt that as a whole, Rihoko's arc was less about romance and more about appreciation for what you have, and fighting to keep things the way that you want them. Rihoko was very focused on keeping the Tea Club together, and she also did not seem to mind the relationship she was having with Junichi. Even though everyone else was trying to change that, it was Rihoko who wanted to keep everything the same, and thus, that is why any romantic feelings were not pursued. I did enjoy watching more of the Tea Club, and I was glad that it worked out for them in the end, but it was frustrating to see Rihoko not only get the man of her dreams. I imagine that she will someday, however, but on her own terms.

Wow, that would be a really nice touch if they did.

I still consider the class president to be the "cover girl" both in the literal and figurative sense. So if they ended her arc on or around Christmas (real life christmas), I think that would reinforce my idea of her as the leading girl - something others disagree about.

That's a pretty interesting take on it. From the standpoint, I can respect Rihoko a lot more because she is fighting to protect something. But I guess in the same light, it is the lack of change or what I feel as lack of character development in Rihoko that turned me off. Rihoko felt like too much of a static character to me...

Rihoko's story also just kind of flowed along with little to no conflict. I can't really pinpoint the turning point or climax in her route, which is probably what made me lose interest.

This is just a thought but...

Could it be that Rihoko's arc feels incomplete because it did not contain implied sex like the other arcs did?

Honestly, the last episode feels like it would be well in place as the third episode.

I like this idea, if the last episode of the arc here was say #3 they would have a huge gateway to make a solid conclusion with 1 more episode.

I suppose that basically the complaints are that there was no character development and that their was no relationship progression...

Overall are ppl liking the way this arc ended or not? Because I still love the way the episode (arc) ended. This story was all about Rihoko, not Junichi so its not like they had to end up in a deep relationship or anything. Rihoko was the protagonist, if she herself is happy with the outcome then so am I. At the end I couldn't help but wish her luck for the coming year.

I can see where you're coming from, with Rihoko being less developed as a character, but it might only seem that way because she was the protagonist. She didn't really become influenced by Junichi like the other girls, and she was able to come to terms with her feelings on her own, even if she didn't express them to Junichi in the end.

I also agree that Rihoko's arc flowed along in a calm manner, and was a lot less active than the other arcs, but I'm thinking that was the point. It was all up to Rihoko how the pacing would go, and she's an easy going girl, so that's how it went.

It's not that I completely disliked the ending. It's just that it feels almost unfair and slightly discriminatory when all of the other girls received romance while Rihoko did not. Now, I know I said before that she decided not to pursue the relationship yet, but they could have at least did a little bit better with the foreshadowing of one at the end, (or a confession, at the very least).

Come on! Amagami is 1/5 on accurate endings.

Dear Lord I could make a 3 paragraph essay on the massive fail of Rihoko. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK! NO PROPOSAL?! NO SIZE MEASUREMENTS?! NO DIETING?! WHAT IS THIS CRAP ABOUT SAVING THE TEA CLUB?! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?! THAT WAS SHIT! I DEMAND MY TIME BACK!

If I don't get the feeling that Tsukasa is mean cold or cynical in the first episode I'm gonna drop it and just shout done.

Just rub it in why don't you? I hope they give her a more sweet ending in the DVD release.

Will the ending be dead on though. Probably not since sex is so strongly suggested in the ending that it's like waving a sign in front of your face.

when Christmas day came but when I noticed that they were focusing on the Tea Club and not their relationship coming up and what not I knew I was in for massive disappointment.

I can't help but notice they tend to dislike Rihoko in the series, the new arc proved it. It's like Amagami is basically watching her get friendzoned each time. Even in her own arc. I don't particularly like her but they need to be fair to her. I might as well read the Amagami manga extra where they actually have a relationship.

The Tsukasa arc is quite interesting, I look forward to Junichi's fearful interaction with her.

Don't you just love dominant women? I fell in love with Tsukasa's dark side of the force :). Oh, I can't wait to see how will she manipulate Tachibana next time around.
