[Anime] Kill la Kill

although having Ryuuko pull the mindwipe BS that I've seen too many times in anime is pretty annoying.

Fanservice at it's finest and wasnt suprised. Still liking this series, but has become a little lackluster as of recently.

Nui's been called out on her reason for keeping her half of the Scissor Blade. So she's probably going to turn on Ragyo at some point, and most likely be turned into a "I'm not really a bad guy, I was too scared/too powerless to defy [insert bad guy here] and I'm sorry for killing your father" character.

Pretty cool episode. A little sad Ryuuko turned back to the good side because I felt that added a little more drama and suspense, but I suppose it had to happen at one point or another. I wish fucking Nui would die but I know her getting impaled is merely a flesh wound. Glad to see the Devas and even Mako jumping into the fray.

[color=#006FFF]Considering we only have 3 episodes left, I'm glad it didn't overstay its welcome. It was a cool thing to see and made for some interesting perspective points from "Evil Ryuko" but I'm glad she broke out of it when she did.

[color=#006FFF]And when she did, I got some major TTGL flashbacks.

[color=#006FFF]Overall, I thought the episode was great, much like the past couple, as the finale is being built up. Ragyou now has Life Fiber ship and plans on "going to where it all began" or something? So.. space? I'd be totally cool with that. I'm curious as to what Nui's little creation will end up being and doing in the end. Is it going to end up being like a LF Mecha/Monster? Once again, I'd be totally cool with that.

I felt like it was rough seeing Satsuki get beat up this time around, for me anyway, just because she's been through nothing but crap for the past few episodes; thankfully, she always keeps her confidence and always has some sort of ulterior motive. I look forward to her redemption. Also, I seriously thought Satsuki was going to take Nui's blade in this episode but I guess that'll have to come later. Considering it's the only other thing that can kill LF organisms (ie. Ragyou and Nui) she definitely needs to get it at some point.

And just as an aside, I was kind of hoping this would be the one time Mako isn't directly involved in Ryuko's reality check since it's happened every other time before, but I guess it only adds more toward her bond with her which helps enough. I'm more happy to see that Senketsu was able to help as well since, over these pat couple of episodes, he been becoming more of a character and I've been liking that. The fact that he's pretty much right with Mako in being by her side at all times is nice to see--as opposed to him just being indifferent about it all and having Mako take the stage.

Ugh the feels. I love you Four Devas. Also suck it Harime. Just suck it. Looking forward to next episode with the return of the Mighty Mako though.

Not a lot happened this episode. But major events are:

• Mako got her Fight Club outfit back

• We finally see Shiro unleash a Uniform Life Fiber Override

• Characters from previous episodes, like the Boxing Club and Tennis club made an (unconscious) return

• and Junketsu's been "tailored" for Satsuki, essentially being forced to work for her

Oh and Nui's gone stark-raving mad.

The scissor blades rending her regeneration useless explains why her eye didn't regenerate when Isshin slashed it; an ability presumably only available once both halves are in very close proximity. The two halves were a single weapon when her eye was slashed, and once again couldn't regenerate once Ryuuko was dual-wielding both halves and cut her arms off. But could regenerate when she was impaled (multiple times) with only one half.

And why did Nui's half of the scissor turn back to red when Ryuuko grabbed it?

Nui deserves more punishment. losing her arms isn't enough to satisfy me.

2intense4me At least that part where Ryuuko got cut in two. I mean, deep down I knew there was a plan, but still for a good moment I was like "oh shit what." Wish there was a little more cool fighting with Ragyou though. Have high hopes for the next episode and was pleasantly surprised because I was wondering what they were gonna do after beating the Big Bad. So far this show is just full of nice surprises. Ready for a big finale? Enjoy it? Well get ready again because there's another one coming right up.
