I like the let's stop making sense and start exploding approach. Want an amazing hero death next episode, high expectations for the Four Devas or Satsuki competing for who can die for who's sake first. If it's a side character like Roosterhead or some smuck from Satsuki's goons then ehh...

According to the episode, Ryuko was able to deflect one of the two blades slicing into her for long enough that it didn't finish it's job 100%. She then threw herself into the sea so that she could regenerate. Basically she tore the rest of her already mostly sliced up torso so that the blade couldn't finish it's job.

We don't see the life fiber because it is so small and it is similar to the episode where Satsuki sliced off Ragyo's head. We didn't see the life fiber until it was shown/explained to us by Ragyo.

[color=#006FFF]I feel like it would have been easier to understand if the anime had stated pretty much what you did, and what I was thinking, with it being pretty much the same situation as before when Satsuki attempted to decapitate Ragyo. She was literally hanging on by a thread and conjoined and healed while Satsuki acted as a distraction.

That being said, that moment of being cut in two did take me by surprise and part of me did think it might have been it, considering this is the end and this is Trigger we're dealing with. Also, while I don't have the source, I've heard that the ending will apparently be bitter sweet? So I'm bracing myself for some sort of potential death to follow the tradition of the "Gainax ending" trope.

Also, I love Ragyo more and more with each episode. She's so wonderfully and deliciously evil.

Her hair get's to me though, I feel like I am seeing a my little pony reference every time lol. None the less she is a great villain and it will sad to see this series ending soon. I've heard the same ting about the ending as well so I will be sure to keep a box of tissues nearby just incase.

I think Mako is my favorite out of all of the characters I've seen. She still is the same goofball she has always been, but she has grown over the course of the show.... if they kill her off I am gonna be really really pissed.

I sort of feel like Satsuki may die in the next episode, I hope I am wrong though because I love all of the characters so much that any of them dying off will be sad.

Watching this anime since Episode 1 till now made my weeks more

Exciting! Each episode offers you even more suspense and now that the 24th

Episode will come forth and we will raise our tea for this wonderful anime!

I am eagerly awaiting the finale, which is the only thing I'm looking forward to at the end of this week. The show has been amazing and nothing less up to this point. I'll be honest, I'm really going to be sad when this show ends because I can't picture it having a second season with the way the story is leading.

Not bad, I guess it couldn't have really ended any other way. Maybe wish Satsuki could have been involved a little more. Those tits tho. Either way, that was a fun ride and I'm satisfied.

Overall I give the series a 6.5-7/10.

Things I didn't like:
The ending wasn't anywhere near as tragic as the writers made me expect it to be. I was expecting a TTGL anti-spiral death march.
Sanketsu's death seemed a bit forced and unnecessary.
Ryuku's final power up wasn't that great, it did have a unique name.
Nui not getting her ass kicked, but instead, turning into life fibers.
What I loved:
The promise to come back on a date
Gamagoori was awesome
The sisterly love
Ryuko's incoherent rambling
The fact that she couldn't beat her mom in a fair match. Also her mom's last words were foreboding. It makes me crave another season, but I'll doubt it will happen.

From a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this series a whopping 8.5 out of 10.

Damn, that finale was awesome.
They used both 2 opening themes and Ryuko's main theme as battle BGM against Nui and
mother fuckin' Ragyo, which seemed really appropriate IMO.

When Gamagoori played dead,
I was fucking crying along with Mako.(Dammit, Trigger. Should've made their shipping canon.)
And when he transformed into his Godrobe, he seriously reminded of a Gunman.
I did not expect Ryuko to transform into a Super SaiyanxGurren Laggan with Senketsu.

And finally, the only main character who dies in the whole show. SENKETSU.
"NO, FUCK NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" < Literally my reaction when Senketsu died.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE WHERE I CRIED OVER THE LOSS OF A CLOTHING.

The only disappointing about the ending was,
Satsuki needed more screen time for the whole episode.
Should've made her fight together with her sister and beat the shit out of mother fuckin' Ragyo.

And damn, I really smiled like an idiot when Ryuko called Satsuki "nee-san."

After that whole (personal) fiasco with the way gurran laggan ended I was very worried. Man I was so happy with what I got. The anime gets a 9/10 but the ending gets a 7.5-8/10.

a lot of the things I wanted to see for the final battle didn't happen and a lot of the characters were overshadowed so it felt rushed. But holy shit did I freak out when mako asked ryuoko on a date and kissed her, I was like a little kid yelling yes!.hopefully we get a ova to add more to the final fight while leaving the ending alone
. This now goes up there with my top animes of all time

Ryuko= Best girl. IMO. Nonon comes right after Satsuki.

Wait what if Ragyo was meant to be like the "Lord Genome" of Kill la Kill and they are actually going to continue it somehow? I doubt it but i really just want more Kill la Kill.

[color=#006FFF]Very, very, happy with this episode. Like others have said, I was definitely disappointed that Satsuki wasn't directly involved in the final battle but I'm glad she had a pretty big role and got some nice screen time in the episode overall. I couldn't help but smile when she was calling out to Ryuko rushing up to catch her. It was a nice way to reinforce the fact that everyone was with Ryuko helping her.

The final battle was more interesting, I think, than the final battle of TTGL but I can't say I was getting goosebumps left and right from the intensity. That's something that I'm actually really happy about with this series though. It isn't trying to be TTGL (not as much as I thought it would) so much as just succeeding at being it's own thing. TTGL is known for a ton of over-the-top mecha action and things of the sort while KLK is more well-known for its break-neck speed which I loved through and through. So much happened in the series!

An OVA has already been announced to be coming soon with the final BD/DVD release so I'm curious what that'll be about--either the date between Satsuki/Ryuko/Mako or maybe something else. Either way, I look forward to it. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed hard for an announcement of director's cut styled movies because I would love to see some re-imaginings of battles like the final battle in TTGL's second movie.

Overall, almost needless to say, I absolutely loved the series and I'll definitely miss watching it every week.
