The main characters are Ryuuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuuin. Satsuki is the 18 year old studen council president in a school where strength rules over all, and her uniform grants her the power of conquest. Ryuuko is a 17 year old transfer student to the school. She carries with her half a piece of a giant scissors-sword as a weapon, and she is looking for the other half seeking revenge for something in her past. The rivalry between the two girls is what drives the series forward. Originally the plan was to make a pure battle manga sort of series set in a highschool, with the main character beating rival after rival in combat. After Nakashima compled about 4 episodes worth of scripts, Imaishi probably got bored of it because he decided to trash everything. The series has apparently since been changed to focus on character drama instead. The rivalry between the two main characters will be a major driving force. Official Site Spoiler: Spoiler: [color=#006FFF]I'm very happy to hear that it's an action-oriented series that will have a good focus put on character drama as it's been a while since last seeing something more serious from Imaishi. And ordinarily I wouldn't care for the idea of an all-girl school setting in an anime simply because that just begs for typical fan service and archetypes, which I have less tolerance for as the seasons come and go, but the fact that this is not only from Imaishi--the man who makes some of my favorite anime--but also the character designer as well as the composer and script writer from Gurren Lagann--which, yes, had it's own fair share of some of the aforementioned qualities, but not to the extent of several other series' that come to mine--I couldn't more excited. I hope to see an official trailer for the series soon enough.

[color=#006FFF]I'm loving everything about this series. The fact that we've only seen 3 episodes yet it feels like I just finished the first season has me incredibly excited what more is to come.

The action, music, art, animation, the references, everything is so amazing.

This scene reminded me of PSG ep 6 a bit.

Is there a manga out for Kill la kill? if there is i can't find it.

But Kill la kill is really good so far but it can get a little odd at times.

[color=#006FFF]A manga was confirmed some time ago; it's to be released in Kadokawa Shoten and I'm not positive of a release date if one's been officially announced yet. I'll definitely be reading as well and, if it comes out over here like the TTGL manga series, I'm guaranteed to buy all volumes.

For those who are saying " Was that a new form??? " here's the difference...

Level 0 armour - Senketsu's eyes is small, and Ryuuko's horns are small

Level 1 armour - Senketsu's eyes is wider and slanted, Skirt has teeth and Ryuuko's horns are big. And her hair has much more red~

I'd like to apologize the the fans of the series for condemning the anime just because of fanservice. I looked through my collection of anime I liked, and there's fanservice left and right (chobits, So I can't play H, even the likes of Seikon no Qwaser), yep, I'm a hypocrite. Feel free to recall this post if I do this ever again, folks. With that said:

Better yet, they both get massive stomach cramps in the middle of their fight.
