The newest chapter was great, they stuffed both comedy and plot into it, which was great. Also, any development in Gray x Juvia is always great.

I get a feeling that Kagura from Mermaid Heel is somewhat inspired by Ikaruga from 3DS game Senran Kagura.
Looks like Hiro is getting inspirations from games lately, the most noticeable one is the Assassins Creed multiplayer mode.

I prefer the manga because it doesn't have fillers in it and the story is alot further then the anime. They censor the anime too like in this Picture below:
