Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

I really hope that doesn't happen, (I don't mind the second season, but that kind of ending would really piss me off). I'd rather that happen possibly in the 11th episode, and have Homura reset everything again, and the next time, in episode 12, she takes Kyoto and Mami into the final fight, (and not get Sayaka and Madoka involved at all).

Oh wow, talk about broken birds. Homura's wish seems to be a true Butterfly Effect - for whatever things she fixes, another breaks down or goes wrong completely.

The part with Magical Girl shootout was just...Dammn. But it fits very nicely with the whole of Homura's "don't believe in people, don't believe in future" attitude. After she sees her friends killing each other repetitively, or failing to change their fate (Madoka still dies in practically every timeline), it kinda does that to her. And now with next episode preview, I have a distinctive feeling she'll finally go off the deep end and just kill everyone.

Or not. The director likes his trolling very much after all.

Also, Madoka as a magical girl was awesome. And about time. Nanoha-level firepower anyone?

I'm getting the feeling I'm one of the few people who genuinely like his character. Now, if they just let him go off scotch-free, nonchalantly saying "Quota done, not my business anymore", then it'll be pure icing on a cake.

Well most everything was explained here. Homura's powers are time-based with access to Hammerspace behind her shield. This explains why she is unable to do anything when tied up since it's not like DBZ or something where pure willpower allows you break free of constraints. As sad as it is to say, it's a good thing Mami died, we wouldn't want her to go on a killing rampage and then die or turn into a witch after realizing the truth. Consequently, it makes sense why Homura didn't tell anyone the truth since THEY were the ones who didn't believe her. Homura is saving Madoka not just because she was her friend, but also because she ASKED to be saved.

For a species that is trying to restore the energy of the universe, Kyubey has no sense of responsibility, does he? Nothing like creating a being that's capable of destroying at least one planet and doing nothing about it. "Oh hey, I've reached the quota, kthxbye!"

Even if Homura manages to succeed after all this time, I don't think that Madoka will be able to accept the fact that she let her friends die. Also, if she ever managed to take down the Walpurgis Night alone, for sure she'd drain too much magic, as we've seen with the previous Madokas. I sincerly doubt that our pure little MC could just sit back and watch all this happen and do nothing about it and it's even less plausible if she were ever to found out about Homura's motives. She might just wish for another reset. Ova ending, anyone?
