A fellow collector has all three preordered, but he's looking to sell them. He thinks they should arrive in July, and he's looking for $120 each, which is a fairly good deal if you consider the prices of each. If you're interested, let me know and I'll put you in contact with him.

I know someone really wanted it after preorders had already closed, but search functionality on Fakku is terrible (and currently broken) and I'm way too lazy to go through the last 60 pages in order to find out who it was. >_>

Also looks like Evening Call has their mascot up and a new link for the EXP rewards (so hopefully the cap is now increased from 3 ^^)

Hmmm... Considering purchasing that Evening Call's Medaka cover. That would be my first from Evening as well.

That's the one done by artist Lvans, right? I actually don't know the series/characters from it at all. If it is, that's definitely one I want myself, though I have another two months almost to put an order in. ^^

Yeah, the one from Lvans. I have a friend in my class that was reading the manga, and now that the anime series has been released and started watching the anime; I have been quite fond of Medaka. I might start using SMJ to do web orders now since they want your money when they actually received the item, which I like. I hate Yokatta because they asked for your money upfront. I have the money for it, but it is quite funky for me to manage.

I might have to check it out eventually; I like both the character in design and I really like the art Lvans has done for her. It's a really good cover, I think. That's definitely the main reason I use SMJ for special orders, even if they're undeniably much more expensive for special orders than Yokatta. But not having to pay for something for 3-4 months is absolutely worth it.

I definitely like ordering directly from circles though; have to pay up front, but it's nice to finally show circles that foreigners appreciate their work too. ^^

If I'm correct on how SMJ's special order rate work, it is $10 for the first item, and any other item after is +$2, right? Yeah, I'm so use to how Amiami works, it is tough to adapt to the way Yokatta works.

Yes, but that's on top of the standard auction fees. So for a 50000 yen order it would be $35 (flat fee for orders over 33k yen) + $10 + 2x (x being number of items after the first.)

Heh, I should do the same. Though my source of income is about as all over the place as my spending; I sell a good number of doujinshi and a figure every now and then (but I'm down to crappy figures now T_T). So I can't really budget properly the way everyone else does and it leads to overspending. >_>

And yeah, the rest of the cover is fantastic but the mosaic is a dreaded mess of wtf. Not really too bad from far away, but disgustingly noticeable up close:

As far as the Medaka cover goes, I still prefer the Evening Call version. Selene's is great because she has an epic ass and I always prefer a front/back side cover (especially since I'm such an ass man, normally), but I really love the facial expressions, coloring, and most of all, the breasts of the Evening Call cover.

Yeah, it's really strange considering the other Nanoha covers aren't censored at all. Though if I recall, the Fate was the first of the bunch to be released, so it's possibly they got laxer with their censoring as time went on. But I have no idea for sure; just that it's really unfortunate.

And yeah, a lot of you guys seem to prefer characters that are close to the source material. I couldn't care less myself most of the time as long as everything else looks good. ^^ Ah, I have approximately 0% exposure to the series she's from, so I have no idea what she's supposed to look like.

That you bidding/winning a 2nd copy of Mugen Kidou/Tomose Shunsaku's COMIC1 cover + set for 19.5k Zangar? I was on the verge of trying to bid on it, but mandarake were amazingly quick for once, and put up a copy of the cover (no set) on the english site within only a few hours of me asking them to when I saw it on the japanese one. So I was able to order that instead.. now to hope nobody bought it out in the shop itself already... Last few times I asked for them to add something to the english site it took them a few days so I was quite surprised it went up so quick today.
