It's definitely my favorite of the new three, before any coloring takes place.

Anyone know if there is any iDOLM@STER dakis? I've been looking everywhere, but alas, no luck.

Been jealous that my friend got a daki of his waifu, and I'd like to try to find one for mine, so any sources will be helpful, thanks!

While there are idolm@ster covers, I havn't seen any Chihaya ones, as far as I can remember.

Edit: I found one but it's been out for more then 2 years already so chances is that finding it is no longer possible.

How many shipments do you guys get in a month?

And funny, I'd say I wouldn't spend 20k on a dakimakura, but I'm really thinking of buying out that 20k Clesta cover of Raika. :X

Actually, those are from Idolmaster, just not from the game or anime as far as I know. They are from the mobile game which has become extremely popular. Some characters even have their own single CDs sung exclusively for it. There are a ton of idols and can be oddly addicting lol. http://sp.pf.mbga.jp/12008305 Need to access it using a compatible mobile phone/device. I only know ios works (ipad/iphone). I tried the kindle fire, but I don't think it worked (could be wrong). There's also a trick using chrome to fake a mobile feature.

I'm not sure if new accounts can be created anymore with a normal email (seems to now require a legit mobile email, but they may have reinstated gmail again), but I can link information about it. And no, I'm not that much of a fan. I have a friend who introduced me to this and linked the CDs lol (seriously!).

Well, the Clesta cover is very nice. I would recommend buying it out because while I have no guarantees, it's unlikely there will be a web order in the future for it, so is the fate of Previous Clesta covers.

Well, rather than thinking of it as 20k, I think of it like this: Are there 2 other dakimakura I'd prefer to have instead of just the Raika one? If there are, I'd get them, if not I'd get Raika. And as you can see I ended up getting Raika..

Hmm, typically I get 0-1 shipments from a variety of sources, people who allow grouping orders together, I generally will bunch them up, so I don't really get more than one order per month from a single source:

Amiami 0-1: almost always 1 per month, they always seem to have *something* I'm interested in..
Hobbysearch 0-1: usually 0, they rarely have better prices than Amiami
Otacute 0-1: usually 0, though sometimes they have really good prices like on the Moe Jinja covers a while back
HobbyLinkJapan 0-1: again usually 0 these days, they only tend to be cheaper for Cospa covers and I'm not really getting those any more)
Yokatta 0-1: usually 1.. they allow storing orders for up to 3 months but I am impatient ;<
Mandarake 0-Many: depends what turns up and at which of their stores. With mandarake you can't really wait to bunch up lots of items together, you have to order fast or what you want will be gone before you know it...
SMJ/Sutocorp 0-1: Usually 0, as I haven't been bidding on many auctions lately (aside from the recent Raika and Kuroneko, obviously), preferring instead to get via web orders. Tends to be 1 though around the time of Comiket....

Adding all that up.. I guess I typically get at least 2 shipments in a month (amiami and yokatta most likely) and possibly up to 4+ sometimes if other stuff aligns or Mandarake gets some awesome stuff in..

One of their covers was actually up on Toranoana, but I didn't bother to check to see if it sold there originally or if it sold at an event first.

Anyhow, though I personally didn't really know the situation with Clesta, usually a lot of event items are exclusive. Depending on the circle, they may do a limited web reception either before or after the event, but details such as that will usually be highlighted in the dakimakura blog, if they know that anything is eventually planned. I'd say a good number sell at events and never get a web reception, but it really does all depend on the circle (and possibly the event, I guess.)

As for my orders, it varies wildly. I order stuff from Mandarake when I find something; I'll usually wait the full 5 days to pay so that I can add anything else that pops up in that time. I'd probably say that I have 1-2 packages from them a month, on average.

Other than that, my numbers vary. I wasn't ordering any figures for about a year and a half, so I didn't get many packages from AmiAmi/Hobby Search; I recently started preordering a few figures from AmiAmi and have taken the chance to add some covers into that. Even so, I'd probably only get a package from them every 2-3 months; just combine monthly orders and I really don't have that much preordered.

Then I have to factor in the circles I order directly from. For me, that mainly means B&WStore and Evening Call, these days. I've ordered stuff from BonCool in the past, but it has been awhile. I have one B&WStore item on order now, but haven't gotten a package from them in a few months. I also have two Evening Call orders (one which was placed in February), but they're set to ship in late May and June.

With my proxy orders, I have no problem stretching things as much as possible. With SMJ, if you're not in the US, they just ship directly from Japan and you can only store things for a month, so it doesn't make as much sense to bundle things up for a big order. But with their 3 month storage time and cheap domestic shipping for large packages, I usually request an order everytime an item is about to hit that cap. I pack as many other items as I can in with it, and then start a new cycle. So in general, I get one package from SMJ around every 3 months, usually of about 10-15 items.

I've actually only had one package from Yokatta, but have some other stuff on order with them now, all of which was supposed to be delivered in April/May, so I should be getting a package soon, hopefully.

Overall, I'd guess I get maybe 2-3 packages a month in total, with a couple random ones thrown in each month.

Well I was about to post that there was a Raika up on mandarake for 18k.. but before I even finished typing it up it had sold ;( Gotta be fast if you want good deals from mandarake ;(

The item description will say if it's used (obviously you need to run it through a translator). The majority are unopened. Usually the used ones are sold at much lower prices.

"Storefront" just means that it's currently on display at the store and someone could have already walked in and bought it before the online system gets updated to reflect that the item is actually sold/gone.

I think he got it. I had PM'd him about two hours ago saying that it was up (before I posted about the Kobato + Maria.) And they're always second hand, but they're usually sealed. Mandarake usually does a pretty good job of stating the condition of the item.

More specifically, 未開封 means unopened.
