Next question... If I wanted to hang up my dakis on my wall, what would you suggest I hang them up with? I don't like the idea of using tacks. lol.I used to hang them like this
Spoiler:
Now I do put a buffer(I use a small microfibre towel) in between the clips so the fabric doesn't get damaged
Spoiler:
Another excellent but expensive method would be to have a custom made frame to hang up your covers.
So you use those black clips to hold up your dakis? And just put some protection between the clips and dakis?

Yah, works fine for me. Or you could hold them with pegs like what Shas or Willow does.

What I have been doing is using a couple push-pins spaced out a little wider than the cover and I'll hang a metal clips over the push-pins:

I'm pretty delicate with the hanging so I'm not too worried about the clips messing the cover up.
If you're feeling saucy, you can also place something like a short USB cable inside the bottom of the cover to give it a little weight so it doesn't look all bunched up or wavy. I also found that you can add a couple weighted clothespins to each of the bottom corners of the cover to help straighten it out for pictures.

Hmm... Who was is that told me to Woolite? o_o
That figure is freaking awesome, Zengar!
And thanks for the washing tip. This particular detergent is pretty scarce. You can't get it online @ Target and some of the locations nearby my house doesn't even stock it. I have to drive at least 15 mins to get a bottle. D:
I might start hanging a few of my older covers now that I have gotten an idea of how you guys do it.

If you're going to be hanging them for display and leaving them up for long durations of time, then I'd definitely put something under the clips at the top and would NOT hang anything at the bottom of the cover out of fear of stretching it out over time. This is just how I go about temporarily hanging them when I want to take pics to share here. ;)
You may also want to look at using some plastic poster hangers like these: http://www.amazon.com/Poster-Hangers-Set-Black-Size/dp/B0017U5RE6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1342126284&sr=8-4&keywords=poster+hanger
I haven't tried this method yet for covers because for the longest F**KING time I couldn't find these anywhere. I've been meaning to pick some up to hang some of my towels and also want to try it for daki picture taking, but I'm not sure if they'll hold the weight of a cover. I can always buy a set, test it out and let you know. ;)

So you use the metal clips directly touching the daki? And what would the spacing be? A daki is 50cm wide, so about 55-60cm apart?

If you intend to use metal clips, it's a must to have to make sure the clips do not touch the covers directly. You can get rust on the clips and if it gets embedded into your cover, you'll be a world of pain.Happened to my friend.

Yeah, they are directly touching the covers. The clips I use are rust-free. I definitely make sure they are clean before placing them on my beloved covers before hanging them up.

So yeah, Zandorf, you can always use some tissue or cut up some pieces of a rag and place it between the clips and your cover just to be safe.

I will take it into consideration. Thanks for all the tips guys, it was very educational, and very helpful. XD

Sounds good! I do need a new way of presenting my covers, since it is tough standing over my cover to take a photo of it. Speaking of presenting covers, I haven't updated any of my covers here in awhile. D:

Speaking of what's loli and not.. does that é¾ç‰™ç¿”æã下ã‚ã—)æ°´å´Žå¥æŠ±ãæž•ã‚«ãƒãƒ¼ cover that's been the newest post on the blog for ages now count as loli or not? At a glance I thought it was for sure, but checking it she actually has fairly significant breasts and just a tiny body.
Edit: that new evening call Momohime cover looks quite promising. Comiket 82 is shaping up to be weird, so many comiket covers are getting their web orders before it that there's not going to be much of interest at the event itself (currently only the fatalpulse cover for me).

That's tough... I mean, take Azusa from K-ON for instance, she has smaller boobs than the girl on this cover, but we all know she is a high school student and her body isn't that tiny. As for this girl, she has bigger boobs but smaller body. She does look young as hell to and we don't know her origins so I'd say, loli. I can't explain about the boobs. :[

Hehe, yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking too. We can just assume she got a boob job at age 8 due to peer pressure ;( Kids these days grow up so fast etc~~
Thinking about maybe getting one of those NoReal rereleases, could Shashin (or anyone) remind me the differences between p80 2WR and 2WT please?

Short of the one time Anko used a new 2WR (the Homura we have with the wrinkles), P80 2WR usually has better details, is smoother, and has better image quality. P80 is a bit thicker, has a different feel to it, and has a grainy look to it. Let me pull up my IS comparison shot. I'll edit this post when I find it.
As for what's loli and what isn't, I usually judge by a case by case bases. A young look or small boobs doesn't necessarily make a case loli in my definition. Also, I think the rule was mainly created with the hyper loli figures in mind. I'd probably feel pretty safe posting pictures of the newest cover without the risk of getting in trouble, but everyone has a differing view of what's loli and what isn't, so there's no way of telling what would get us in trouble until someone actually gets in trouble.
Here's the couple of pictures I could find:
http://www.mediafire.com/?83daq85w56u3089
There are a few important things to note:
- I suck at taking pictures, so who what differs because I'm a shitty photographer.
- This comparison is a bit unfair, because the 2WR is the version Anko only used once, due to the wrinkl problem. I think the P80's 2WT is fairly similar (minus the wrinkles), but without a direct comparison between the same cover in both versions of 2WR, there isn't any way to tell for sure.
- In most (if not all) of the pictures, the 2WT is on the left and 2WR is on the right.

You mean which cover is it? If so:

If not, I'm not sure what you mean.
Anyhow, materials are all a matter of taste; both of these were manufactured by the company P80. There's several other companies that make material by the same name (2WT/2WR), but they're different. Generally speaking, most 2WT and 2WR materials are almost indistinguishable; they may feel a bit different or be a bit thicker in some cases, but for the most part 2-way tricot and 2-way roika are interchangeable terms.
P80's roika and tricot, however, are obviously quite different. The roika is obviously the better material in terms of image quality; the colors look better (in my opinion), and I describe the 2WT as having a "grainy" look, but a more detailed description would be that the individual pixels are much more noticeable, whereas the roika's image is a lot more unified.
The reason I buy P80's 2WT as well as their roika, when the roika is obviously superior in image quality, has everything to do with the feel of the material. It's definitely another personal preference issue, because drakanity recently got some Marks covers made of P80 2WT and he described the material as feeling rough. I think P80's 2WT just has more substance when you feel it; almost all roika and tricots are very smooth and slippery when you use them, but I really like the way P80's 2WT feels against the skin. The smoothness/slickness that materials like A&J's 2WT or Seiren's Pearl Roika offer are still great from time to time, but I personally prefer the unique feel of P80's 2WT. Even if the image quality sucks. D:

I wouldn't say the image quality sucks. The cover I got from Kyounetsu has almost the same image quality as their 2WR.I have the 2WR and 2WT versions.
I guess image quality also differs from circle to circle.
P80's 2WT feels a lot better if you use it to sleep. The hardest thing is to describe P80's 2WT is that it's so unique compared to other types of 2WT which are typically very smooth.
How I would describe the 2WT: Has a "grainy" feel and look to it. But feels softer and thicker when you press down on it compared to their 2WR.

Yeah, the image quality sucking may have been a bit harsh, I guess. It's also possible that they've made strides since the IS cover came out. But generally speaking, P80's 2WT isn't as good as P80's 2WR in terms of image quality; whether it's the grainy look or the coloring.

Man! P80 2WT is really grainy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Raika cover by Cresta/Clesta is A&J 2WT, right? If yes, it is not grainy at all compared to the P80 2WT.
@Willow Actually, I wanna purchase one of those NoReal cover as well but it is a hard choice. Those three look so sexy, and I'm so broke!! T_T

Clesta cover being A&J sounds right off the top of my head, but I didn't double check. But yeah, P80 2WT is a completely different beast compared to any other 2WT. Relatively speaking, most 2WTs are very similar with possibly a few minor differences, but P80's 2WT is completely different. It's still one of my favorite materials entirely because of the feel, though.
I actually own the fully nude Kuroko (no juice, sadly.) It's a really nice cover and I'd recommend it to anyone interested. I'm sad I missed out on the blonde and I'd like to order her, but I ordered two of the newest cover (one nude/clothed.)
As for Effie's back, it looks like it probably burst open because of her massive boobs, but who knows? :p
