An anime to manga adaptation is the only thing worse than a manga to anime adaptation.

A book based on a movie is way way worse than a movie based on a book. But both are horrific.

I always watch the anime version first so I can enjoy the animation to its fullest without having to worry about what's canon and what's non canon. I also enjoy being able to judge any non canon changes with as little bias as possible.

Heh I mostly watched the anime first then started reading...>_< even though manga's way better animation series are sometimes short and quicker to the point of the story orrrr really long and I just wanna watch it regardless~! >_

I'll take whichever came first: the original. If I like it, I'll take the adaptions (or if I hear that the adaption is actually better).
