I knew this "debate" would have an OBVIOUS result, but in a landslide. >_>
And I knew people when it comes to Dub vs. Sub, they start whining about dubs. (UGH!)
I vote for BOTH, to show I still favor dub and sub and the SAME TIME.
Though in this vote I vote for Dub to save it.
Well, obviously we ALL KNOW that sub is where the cute voices and hot moans are, not to mention original scripted voices.
I'm not against sub, but I want to showcase myself that I'm flexible in enjoying anime dub or sub.
While dub is only IMHO on special occassions, particularly when I'm in a mood to watch a certain anime w/ out killing my time looking at subtitles.
Well,............a perfect example of one of the few animes that it's dub is FANTASTICALLY well done would be Area 88 anime, and Akazukin Cha-Cha IMHO.
Another is Ogenki Clinic, it's English dub REALLY give you a good laugh, hence it's comedy.

Haha... If you're asking me this... I would gladly, and from the bottom of my heart, I would choose... SUBBED ANIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DON'T LIKE DUBBED! Sometime dubbed destroy the fun, e.g. with English language, how they can make a joke like "Neko wa nekoronda!", and the voices are not balance, sometimes the voice went louder or high-pitch. I really don't know why must they destroy the originality...

I'll watch subs, I own quite a few, if its been licensed and not been dubbed, but I prefer the dubbed versions. I think that most licensing companies do a good job with their dubs. I've ran into a few horrible dubs - Green Green, Ikki Tousen, and Neon Genesis Evangelion come to mind (I didn't care for any of them either, before you flame me I'm not a giant mecha or fan service fan) - but that has been about it for me. My only complaint about subs is that sometimes I have to pause to catch up on the reading or rewind because as I was reading I missed out on some of the action, which takes me out of the immersion.
Just my two cents, please don't bbq me to the sub gods :P

Subbed.
Its not anything against dubbed really besides finding a lack of quality dubbed anime in general. Even though the poll is specifically about anime, I also apply it equally to games as well. I've had a general dislike towards dubbed games as well (in particular the Final Fantasy series) which has made me not enjoy any of the FFs since 9 partly due to the inclusion of voices by people I'd rather not hear. It may be partly due to actually recognizing the voices in Japanese games moreso than in the English but in general, I don't find the voices particularly enjoyable (and Tidus' voice in FFX singlehandedly ruined my ability to play that game with the voices on).
Back to the topic at hand, I also don't mind subbed because its not like I have to look down to see what they're saying every few seconds. I don't have a sweeping vocabulary of Japanese but I do tend to recall enough of what I read that I can usually piece together what was said without having to look. I don't go as far as to watch RAWs since I still want to make sure I'm understanding what I'm interpreting but there's that to keep in mind (which is usually the main argument against subs in the first place).

Subbed since there is the beautiful soundtrack and it just seems that the seiyuu have more emotion in their voice acting.
That's hard to find with dubbing and in some cases the sound track is changed.
Also character names are changed and some important area's in the story are edited out!
I'm a shonen anime fan so I'm mostly talking about things I've seen in stuff like One Piece dubb!
Terrible!
Besides, it's been subbs all my life anyway!
Same for Games, I enjoy a good translated game if there aren't any voices, but if there is it must be japanese.
Other games like Tekken excluded!

if subbed u can still listen to those cute and verbal emotion if dubbed u can hardly find it interesting. Japanese is the best in voice acting

from my experience the voice actors used for dubs are always over dramatic and cheesy sounding americans, and the dub completely ruins the 'feel' of the scene.
also i've managed to get a (very basic) understanding of japanese by listening to the original japanese voices (although the words tend to be things like 'idiot' 'bastard' and 'kill' :))

The majority of the time I've watched a sub I can't really tell the characters apart or any suttle emotion (mainly due to the fact I'm always looking at the bottom of the screen and never get to see who said what)
The funny thing is when some says a dub sucks I feel it's more of a hate thing than an actual opinion on the dub
A lot of the time when some on gives a decant opinion on how good or bad a dub was it is normally equel to the anime like a crappy dub for a crappy anime, a great dub for a great anime.
