I would have to say Subbed. Most Eng Dubbed anime don't sound right cause the voice doesnt fit the characters : /

This one was a hard choice I like both sub and dub but if the dub is bad (Haruhi, Elfen Lied, and all hentai movies I've ever seen) Then I go with subs but the only problem with subs is you have to focus on reading the text and you can easily miss something on screen. But my vote is for subbed on this on.

Honestly, I like both. So far I haven't seen any shows that have obvious mess ups very often.
Lately, I have been watching a bunch of subbed anime so thats what I voted for. Two Three other reasons why I choose sub over dub:
1) Sounds match better with the character's movements
2) It's really fun to start picking up on phrases (and memorizing the theme songs)
3)The voices usually match the emotions and expressions better
the only advantage to a dubbed show is that it is (usually) done professionally so the translation should be decent, then you just need good Voice actors

Dubs ruin a lot of animes. (Azumanga Daioh for example)
Though there are a few who do a pretty awesome job.
But I mostly prefer subs. (I also learn Japanese this way)

FMA, DBZ, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Ranma 1/2, Desert Punk, Kenshin, Tenchi Muyo (well everyone but Tenchi). These 8 are the only shows where I like a good number of the English cast. Outside of these, i've mostly just stick to dubbed. Nothing against it, but I'll like for American companies to spend a little more time choosing.

Subbed anime wins by far..
It just doesnt feel like your watching anime if theres no Japaneese voices :)

Subbed for 90% of all anime I watched so far. Very rarely will you find one Dubbed where the voice actors voices actually MATCH with the image/personality of the character... You'd think one of the casting agents would have at least watched the original/subbed and take notes so they could cast the dub properly!

i cant stand dubbers who change the names of the characters. Eg Shinichi -> Jimmy in detective conan and Joiruchi->Joey in yugioh. And their voices too i can't stand it, it doesn't suit anime at all, subbs for the win. I mean have you heard ichigo's english voice

Subbed all the way. I've seen too many poor dubs that just ruined the series for me. However, there are some series that are better dubbed. For example, Samurai Champloo and Nerima Daicon Brothers were both good dubs (primarily because of the humor that came with it). But, in general, subs are preferred.

Dubbed can be many other languages other than english...
In my country, dubs are in Malay which are much much more worse than english dubbed. Anyhow I'd still pick subbed since it's more original.

My argument to the whole thing is this: How can one judge the acting quality of a language that they don't speak fluently?
Don't get me wrong, I like subbed and dubbed, but I don't hate dubs for the sake of them being dubbed with such a baseless, zealous passion like most weeaboos do. And let's be honest, most weeaboos don't speak Japanese with any degree of proficiency.

even though i vote for dubbed still i like the subbed... for the reason that other dubbed anime are not translating the word that is supposed too be..

As seems to be the general consensus, the majority of dubs just don't "seem right", or are downright awful.
