i like dub when i watch my anime (don't like reading) but, when i watch my hentai sub all the way (they feel more committed to their roles).

Mostly subbed, but it really varies for me. If the english dub is bad, then i'll do the subbed version, but if not, then i don't mind. Like Cowboy Bebop, Last Exile, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Samurai Champloo. they had great dubs. Burst Angel on the other hand....

subbed ofc... i mean c'mon...
you really want that desperate a crappy dub that will most likely lack the passion of the original voices?
Subs FTW !

So how's life back in the 90s? The reason you'll almost never find anything that follows your whiny moments nowadays. Continue to prove my belief that most of you "sub fans" don't know a thing about what you're saying.I'm the one who don't know a thing about what you're saying. Okay, I hate every dubbed, whether it's Japanese to English or English to Japanese etc. I mean, if they didn't have a thought about dubbing-- DAMN THE FIRST ONE WHO THOUGHT ABOUT DUBBING!!! Oh well... English people can also make their own animation. Just follow the illustration, gather the voice actors and actresses and make their OWN storyline. If it's like that, I would like watch it instead of dubbing Japanese Anime. I guess, they can't do moeness huh?

I can not watch Full Metal Alchemist subbed. Just can't.
The dub did the show more justice than the Japanese voice cast ever could. Ed just didn't sound mature enough, and it just got annoying to hear the butchered Engrish names being called, like Ed uu warudo Ehl reeku and stuff.
/end rant
Dubs kill a lot of anime though, so I voted subs.

It all depends on which one you watch first, chances are you'll end up hating or feeling awkward with the other. If it's some unknown anime without any big voice leads there isn't really a reason to choose. If it's something big and the voices are important to the drama or the story i suggest you watch it with original voices just as inteneded.
Besides original japanese dubs have way more money going into them than any other dubs. The lipsync is off and some scenes might be cut. American dubs don't feel right, not because i like the original better (which i do) it's because american dubs don't have high calibur sounding voice actors than japanese seiyuus who have alot more voice talent, have much more popularity and fan base which really gives it a push and make much more money doing the job.
I honestly think if they actually had hollywood stars do voices in anime then it's worth watching in both dub and sub
Since that's not the case it's best to go with sub.
Simple, fast, safe, and most importantly enjoyable.

In general it is Subbed all the way.
However in recent years American VA have gotten ALOT better. And the production teams have gotten alot better as well.
One big thing for me is if I have seen it in English first then it doesnt bother me. However if it is Japanesse first then it will bother me more unless it is well done.
