Debate on Mosque & Cultural Center near 9/11 grounds

Mosque actually a place just a place where everybody gather just like the church well that's not my point but what i mean is it's just a place i repeat 'A PLACE' where someone going to pray just like church, i don't want to comment which religion is the good one or the bad one for this will make me like a racist. After all there is no problem if there where nearby police station and doing their job everyday. Rather than worrying something trivial i rather worry about what's to come in the next few years.
Someone please tell me which is more dangerous a global warming which can kill almost few million people or some stupid terrorist which kill less than 10 people?

As I said, you wrote it in a way that could be taken the wrong way so I rewrote it in a way that would be favorable to the opposing side. A good example of someone taking your point the wrong way:Nekohime wrote...
Or like, calling a mall a church just because there is a small church somewhere inside the mall.Unfortunately, Nekohime interpreted my point correctly. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Trying to say it's "Mostly a community center" doesn't change the fact that they are still building a mosque in it.So arguing against it being a mosque is pointless because they are wanting to build a mosque no matter how you cut it.
Way to completely miss the point of my analogy.
I didn't miss the point. I'm saying that you were inaccurate in thinking it changes the fact that they are still building a mosque.

The fact that a building is being built by Muslims, let alone the mini-mosque inside it, near Ground Zero is pissing people off.
My gripe, and I'll state this again, with the community center is that for something as touchy as this issue is, Imam Rauf isn't doing his best to smooth issues over. True, he's on a trip, but I expect when he comes back that he tries his best to placate the public that the community center is what he meant it to be and dispell current contradictions. I just wished this building was somewhere else for decency's sake, but since that can't happen, I can only worry about the future.

My analogy was to show that something should be referred to as its whole unless you are only concerned with a specific part. This is what both you and Nekohime interpreted it as, which is correct. It does not mean that my example is "dog shit", as it functionally serves the purpose stated.

I thought I posted here? Hurrr...I keep erasing what I want to say~.-. Well I'll keep it simple. Just build it and move on. Acting like a bunch of babies wont help any and certainly wont change what happened. Lets be the bigger people here and let something that is "already there" get fixed up. Truth be told I dont like the idea cause thats my hometown and was my uncles but whatever. Its not like there talking shit about us or something. Its simply for there religious purposes or whatever.

Then why make the statement? If the mosque is the reason people are discussing things, then why are you making that statement? It doesn't refute anything and it doesn't change the situation.
I would have to assume you're not in the habit of making useless statements like that.

In Reality we moslem didn't need a mosque that much. If we want gather we can gather everywhere we like. we can Prays everywhere we like.
so I'm stick with my opinion. build mosque there is bad Idea.
plus what the fuck are they doing there! they think their fucking mosque can stop any terrorist act to Big Apple? wake up guys Al Qaeda CS is a terorist org's that wanna An oil ransom coated by the name of Religion. and your idea build a mosque there is seriously Bullshit.
Damn these wannabe Moslem guys is pissing me of.

See what I did there?

But you don't call the ENTIRE human body a heart, do you? And object to humans just because they have hearts?
The ones objecting to the community center could be placated by saying they'll remove the mosque part, but honestly, I think even if this community center did not involve a mosque in the first place the bigots would still protest just because Muslims are the ones behind this project. It is stupid and hateful.

NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN...
People are complaining about A Facility that will only take like 5% from the whole building.
C'mon people, get your common sense right.
my college builds a prayer facility, that only takes like 10 % of the whole building complex, and even the muslims don't called it a mosque.
they're calling it a mosques because, There's no english word that is comparable like a chapel

Yes, and you would have both interpreted the point of my analogy correctly. If you were concerned only with the heart, then you would refer to it exclusively. If you were concerned with the human body as a whole, you would refer to it as the human body. This is only natural behavior, no? Surely you can connect the dots now, and stop being so silly?
(I don't terribly mind connecting the dots for you, but shouldn't need me to.)

Said this before: It doesn't matter what the size of the building is. It also has nothing to do with what it is called. It has to do with the fact that the "mosque" (for a lack of a better term as you have so noted meaning this is the only word people are able to connect it with also backed by the official site so please don't pull a NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN lol run-on) is serving Allah whose name inspired a group of men to run two iconic buildings to the ground killing thousands.

Psh, you're the one trying to say people call malls by the name of the store inside they hate. Not only was that an unnecessary analogy, it was also stupid. Wait, are you saying that the "good" is outweighing the "bad" or something?
Also, is anyone against the community center?

Do you know what hate crime is?It's a crime done against someone for their ethnicity? Didn't I respond to this? My memory's shitty.

I'm sure there are those who are against the community center as a whole, but I think most everyone is just miffed at the portion housing the mosque, or prayer center so kaimax doesn't bitch at me.
Which is why I believe involving the whole building in this argument is moot.

Allow me to apologize for ever giving your intelligence the benefit of a doubt.
If you'd like, I can try to explain it to you over PM, should you decide that you are open-minded enough to take it into consideration seriously.

Honestly, I believe this is a non issue. Majority of people in the US agree that a "Mosque" that isn't even a real mosque being built TWO BLOCKS AWAY is just something barely important enough to discuss. It is more ironic than insensitive that it is near ground zero, and the dis-inclusion of Muslims from building somewhere for any reason only alienates them from mainstream society. God knows nobody would protest a church being built, so why a Mosque other than the fact that you associate Islamic Americans as being more foreign then American? You'd have to have a deep fear that all Muslims are terrorist which would group you with nut job conspiracy theorist.
