Bravely Default/Bravely Second

Happy times boys. Bravely Second is being heavily rumoured as the sequel to Bravely Default, coming out for the 3DS. Same world, takes place years after Bravely Default.

Wait WHAT? Sequel even before the first one has been launched in EU/NA? I know in Japan has been already for a year, but, wow, that was FAST.

I want to play and squeeze this first title first before thinking on getting a sequel. xD

Actually I thought "Bravely Second" was a special attack within the game you can do only when you use Sleep Points?

I have not being able to get my copy yet. I mean, I "got" a copy, but its in my parents house and I won't be there until... mid December... So I would be very grateful if we avoid "spoilers" for two weeks maybe? :D

So, how is the feel compared to FFT?

I don't think Tactics is the best game to compare it to. Some say it's the spiritual successor to The 4 heroes of Light, can't really confirm since I've never played it.

Here I thought I had the "good ending"... There's a true ending and I still have a couple of hours until I get it. Surprisingly, this is the most exciting part of the game. Once I'm done with that, the secret dungeon opens with the game's toughest boss.

How about using "spoilers"? :P

You aren't speaking about the story, but you are speaking about "secret" things. God, last time I check the topic until I have played the game. XD

The sequel was announced within the game, like, with a cutscene post credits after the true ending. A cutscene in which you can feast your eyes on Magnolia (picture in spoilers).

Welp, it took me THAT long to reach the true ending, never has a second half game last this long, I mean wow, be ready to spend 10-20 hours more after what you think is the "ending" but god was it entertaining.

Overall, 70 hours spent to complete the game. I recommend switching to easy when grinding, otherwise it's just a waste of time.

I purchased the Japanese edition of the game more than a year back. Unfortunately, I am still at Chapter 5 of the game.

(Is bear doomed not to complete any of his games!?)
