Just beat the butterfly earlier today. Still can't beat the carpa demon though. Keep getting ganked before I can run.hmm i recommend you go get the havel ring, right now it boostes your weight cap by 50%. its in the tower that leads to undead berg in darkroot basin, right at the entrances be careful because he will one hit u. just shield up and circle around him and wait for achance to backstab.
@smashspite, its time to backtrack to, firelink shrine but visit, the great hallow if u havent done so, but be careful. a lot of people fall to their death and get cursed there. also, farm those leech worms for large titanic shards, and 5 green titanic shards, u'll also get great souls along with it and the campfire is insite the great hallow, near the entrance
I did not understand those directions at all...
EDIT: I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL MY KID BROTHER!
I come home from work to start playing, load up my saved and I immediately fucking die.

since you have defeated moonlight butterfly i assume u have the "watchtower basement key." simply backtrack to where darkroot garden splits to darkroot basin.
simply decent down, the edgely clifts and make your way to the bottom and proceed forward, you will see (regi ice/ i call em take :D and a hydra) simply ignore them if you wish and go stright towards the watch tower that is completely adjacent from where u descended from the clift. and when u open the watchtower door. a Havel Guardian will attack you when u step foot inside, he is extremely powerful so refer to the strategy i provided above. and once u defeat him, he will drop the "Havel ring" and i'm pretty sure u would want to equip that "Elite Knight Armor"(armor in the front cover) you picked up while traveling to the MoonLight Butterfly

Oh ok. That was a bit clearer for me.
I'm working on trying to get people to summon me so I can get some extra souls, but I'm not having much luck.
Because I don't have enpugh stamina to freely move with armor. I mean I can run but its not as fast as having my leather armor on.

[color=#006FFF]Question!Does anyone know a place where the Curse thing that's needed to fight the ghosts in the Ruins can be purchased? I know you can pick up two of them right at the front of the place, but I used up one of them, and I'd rather not run out already, lol.
There's this undead merchant lady in Undead Burg that sells only four of them for 4000 souls a pop. However, ghost are suppose to drop Transient Curses when killed, as well as "Jagged Edge of the Ghost", which is a weapon that supposedly damage them without the need of a curse. I haven't made it there yet (I haven't had a lot of time to play recently) so I don't know how effective is such weapon.
When I went in to go kill some ghosts for the weapon they never dropped a single item. Then I got raped from behind by this crazy psycho bitch ghost lady with a little dagger that wouldn't take damage at all.

if you were using Trancient Curses, the effect probably wore off. considering the fact, that u were genociding for the weapon, i technically have no problem getting drop of Trancient Curses, aside from 3 i brought and 2 i picked up before reaching the ghostes. Lightning Laito, my baby ^_^/

Spoiler:
No the curse was still in effect the ghost wasn't the same as other ghosts it was much bigger and used an actual dagger she did take small damage but it was way too small for any hope of winning the fight. Even once I was dead she was still hovering over me stabbing me.

TBH i have no record of the ghost you are describing. whatthrew me off was, "much bigger". i have no record of that ghost and i am nearly done with New Londo Ruins.

Problems with playing in Blight town are starting to a pain with it's bad frame rates, enemies stuck in walls that can still hurt you, and pieces of scenery blocking the camera view I've walk of the edge of some thing a few times because I can't see where I am walking.

So I entered the forest and after an hour of being ambushed and ganked... I finally joined the cat covenant.

One other problem I realized with Blight town is it keeps resetting the adjusting to the light conditions of how far away you can see it's a bit erratic.
I went all the way through Blight town to just find a dead end. (because I used the back door at the Fire link the way to the boss was pretty close and I walk right on by)
I couldn't find the Merchant that is meant to sell Pyromancies any where but the guy from the Forest Hunters covenant was there he had some quite good weapons for sale. (they weren't better than my current weapon but I thought I may as well before I leave the covenant they might scale up good.)
I didn't mean to join the cat's covenant I was happy farming souls from the area and thought oh I think I should quickly join the covenant see what spell they sell though they didn't sell any and realized the covenant was a one chance only so I'm waiting to be summon so I can get it over with and get my rewards but it's taking ages for them to summon me.

I'm gonna try and grind to 100 today... Then fight capra. You don't have to fight him if you took the master key as your gift.
Your able to skip basically all of blighttown and the sewers with it and go back later. But if not then grind to Lv 80 and add either VIT or Endrance.
Currently fighting Ornstein and smough(?) for their armor sets and weapons. Also, I was finally invaded by a darkmoon member. He used the Ninja outfit, Painting guardian dagger, Whip, and Darkwood ring.
His STR and DEX failed hard so beating my hybrid build wasn't very likely. I felt bad and did the prayer gesture as he died.

Lmao, nice.
Well thanks to peer pressure, I didn't grind, but instead fought him anyways.
Now I just beat the gaping dragon... But I ended getting cursed beforehand though.
