FAKKU Ass Master
So far loving the spear, had Smash help me a whole lot, too bad this game forbids FRIENDSHIP. Fucking terrible Co-op, I don't want to play with random assholes, I want to play with my friends.

How am I meant to hit the butterfly with melee if I can't get close?I found this weird area in the Fire link shrine up high in the ruins and there is a birds nest you can curl up in I wonder if it's for any thing.
[color=#006FFF]I didn't use any magic in the battle (chose the knight class); all you have to do is dodge his two or three attacks, and wait for him to land on the edge of the bridge, and then slash the hell out of it. It takes some patience, but it's generally frustration-free. Oh, but look out for when the butterfly charges up when resting there (PS. When it does that, it's replenishing it's health) because it does a small blast afterward--it's easy to avoid though. ...Which reminds me, look out for his laser thing when he's flying... It was a bitch with me.
As for the bird's nest; curling up in it will allow it to mistake you as an egg of its (or something like that? Lol) and it will eventually pick you up, and fly you back to the Asylum from the tutorial. I have yet to do this myself, but my friend did it just today. Apparently you fight the guy who gave you the flasks at the start of the game, and he has a nice shield to give you after beating him. Oh, and there's also another demon boss there.
I just beat Sif, and Gaping Dragon tonight. Thinking about where to go next. Might go to the Ruins under the Firelink Shrine, since I really want to see the boss there... But Iono.
(The battle against Sif was freaking intense for me, haha. I was down to just a sliver of health, with no flasks left, and my stamina was at its edge, but I did it! Woo~)

Get the dark wood ring and some light weight armor so dodging wont be a problem. The fight is a duel so just wait till he's wide open then attack. I beat him with a slow greatsword and if you have enough STR then you can make him stagger after the 1st hit. Dragon crest shield works wonders in this fight and use the stone pillars to your advantage.
Currently doing NG+ and im already done with blight town. Used the master key and took the shortcut. I have to do the sewers now so I can get another Dragon king axe so i can DUAL WIELD them. I'll get the Dragon greatsword shortly after that and continue down into the catacombs. I'll save sen's fortress and anor londo for later so I can get more weapons to dual wield lol. If I play till morning I'll be Lv 100+ and have the painted world finished.
PS: I need to figure out a solid way to have multiplayer sessions..

I'm not ready for that.

I really like this game, the difficulty is what is keeping me wanting to playing this game more and more, but...
Dang... I guess I suck at this game. I'm still stuck at the beginning, where the crow drops you off after finishing the boss fight in the very beginning of the game... :P
I don't know where to go, I die way too much so I'm not progressing levels, and I feel clueless on what to do.
Any suggestions?
I have a Hunter right now, but she's running low on arrows because I keep dying too much...

I've just started reinforcing my equipment I can't wait to see how much my titanite pole goes up so far with my stats it does 304 just need to find some twinkly stuff.
I also started doing a little farming luring one guy of a cliff that gives 3000 each time. You can lure more than one of but I got know idea where these people are.
You know that guy in the parish you let out of jail when he's gone where is he to give you your gift for freeing him.
I'm having a hard time fighting the Stray Demon for the second time every time I fall through the whole before my guy even stands back up he hits me and I'm dead. The game even registers me as dying from the fall and not dying by the boss I think because my blood stain is in the court with the hole and not down below.

It's weird I'm starting to get back stabbed a lot by guys when I am looking straight at them they go in for the back stab animation and my character get flipped 180 degrees instantly it looks kind of like a glitch.

Wow, this game doesn't fuck around, doesn't it? That tutorial boss would probably cause eternal nightmares to someone who's completely new to this game. Here I was trying to kill him with just a hilt because I thought he was supposed to destroy me just like in the first game. Then I realized my character was already dead.
Oh well, at least it was good practice to get the mechanics down again.

Thats what I figured, I usually can't get that far before getting stalled by the dogs, then getting buttfucked by capra.
Should I switch my equips around? All I have is the drake sword handy as far as damage goes. I was debating on trying to find a decent place to grind and just try to boost myself or find better armor.

The drake sword is fine but just keep your shield and lock onto the boss so you can dodge behind him then run up the stairs. Kill the dogs then bait him into a Plunging attack (No special animation) for some decent damage. Quick note: In the depths the first area your in has a monster cutting meat. Kill the monsters before him and kill the dogs then aim for him. Once you kill him open the chest for Large Ember and break the boxes behind the table with the meat on it. That's a shortcut to get to the boss but you'll have to use arrows to kill the mage looking down on the boss area. There's a pyromancy teacher in the area with the Butcher you killed for the shortcut. just run off the ledge where the Torch hollows are and you wont have to go through the water area. Also, The shortcut leads to the giant rat but you'll be above it. Weaken it with some arrows then go in for a plunging attack (Special Animation) and kill it quickly. The rat doesnt respawn either so your safe in that area once it's killed.

Just behind you enough to trigger the attack.
I think the attack pos. requirement is 65 degrees to 180 degrees and vice versa.

Ugh, im in the depths right now. I can get all the way around to where Gaping Dragon is and everywhere. I cant seem to find the bonfire in there.
Got cursed too. that almost alone made me rage quit. losing half your hp till it gets cured? thats BS IMO. but 3000 souls later I got rid of it.
If I can find that bonfire I think ill be alright.
