Dark Souls

The sewer bonfire is somewhat hard to find and i think you need a key for it. I opened the door with the master key but The door is located in a hallway with a lot of slugs on the ceiling. There's a shortcut behind the first Butcher you fight that leads to the room with the giant rat. Use that shortcut if you can't get to the bonfire.

Honestly... I need to buy something that records ps3 gameplay so i can show people instead of explaining in rough detail.

Or get the strategy guide. Seriously that thing is awesome. FYI it is right after the butcher. Long tunnel full of slimes and 2 fire holding hallows

i should join in on this thread too i might be useful to some people, but it seems pretty much all is covered.

Gwynevere didn't put up much of a fight.....Is every covenant leader that weak?

And speaking of covenants, i almost completed the game and....i know NOTHING about them nd never bothered to join one. Anyone can explain possible covenants, what they do, what are the benefits?

P.S. In fact i'm not sure i know the translation for *Covenant* since i'm Russian.

Just beat the Gaping Dragon, summoned a player and NPC Knight Solaire. solaire died while the player helped me allot.

I just killed The Spider Bitch... Seriously that AOE is probably a 1 hit kill... took me 2 deaths to tell me her reaction before she does it.

Also where do I go from here after killing CEASSLESS DISCHARGE and what benefits does joining the chaos covenant do?

I assume you got the bell tower too. Go to sen castle. It is right next to the church, past the bonfire near the blacksmith.

Save your arrows for boss fights or mini bosses. My friend was a hunter and he rarely used bows and arrows.

Is there any permanent source for collecting twinkling titanite? Does any one sell any?

I couldn't find any. There's quite a bit of it in the archives and the area beyond it if you haven't been there yet, and Snuggly trades for some but gives a limited amount.

You can farm it in the "Crystal Caves". After defeating use the Bonefire and kill the Crab Monsters in the previous Cave. They drop "Twinkling Titanite" and "Purging Stones". After killing about 100 of them i got 3 Titanites and 30 Purging Stones. The drop rate is very low, but it is the only place with respawning monsters.

Dont forget to equip your "Covetous Gold Serpent Ring".

Yeah, save your arrows for bosses and really annoying enemies. Just make your way through the Undead Burg until you make it to the boss. And since you say you suck at this game, be ready to die a lot. A WHOLE LOT!

Just be patient and learn the enemies attack patterns and movements. Patience is the most important thing in this game. Oh yeah, learn how to dodge attacks by rolling. It's always feels awesome rolling behind an enemy and backstabbing him to death. Also, make sure your leveling up your vitality and endurance.

Does anyone know who I can kill without reprecusions?
I just killed that guy near the bonfire at firelink, since it didn't seem like he had anything worthwhile... And he didn't.
Anyone know who I *should * kill and who I shouldn't?

EDIT: I discovered them valley of drakes today... I wish I didn't.

Ah, I'm on NG+ and about to run through Sen's fortress. I've died so many times in that area I figured out how to kill things with the traps and all sniping spots. Having a Hybrid knight build with a wander helps with the iron golem. High STR can knock him down for a easy kill lol.

I run str/dex/end with emphasis on str and end. Some Int/Faith/Attun for some spells. I am still mostly a knight but using a +5 lightning washing pole and a +5 ascended pyro hand makes stats more or less useless. Burn everything or shock them. Everything comes falling down.

Also got the lordvessel now. Blazing through on NG+. This is literally 1/10 the time I spent on NG.

Your second playthrough is going to be the shortest one since you know what your doing. I was lazy doing my first run and mostly ran around killing things and helping out players with bosses.
