I think I got a better idea how the game works I think I might restart the game.So does a fire have to be kindled to level up at it or is it just certain fires?
Kindling a flame means you'll get more Flasks than normal from that bonfire. You can level up at any bonfire as long as nothing is chasing you and enters the bonfire's radius or it won't activate.
Lv 1: 5 flasks
Lv 2: 10 flasks
----------------
(You'll need the Rite of kindling for this and that's gotten by beating the Catacombs' first boss)
Lv 3: 15 flasks
Lv 4: 20 flasks
My Lv 4 bonfire is at the firelink shrine; It's best to make a Lv 4 kindle just before a boss. Also, there's an item you get later in the game that's let's you warp between the bonfires making traveling 10x easier.

Just got past the Capra demon and started making my way through the sewers. Got cursed from those freaky frog looking things and had to walk all the way back up to get a cure. FFFF this game is so hard, makes me so mad but I love it so much.
I was lucky enough to get the Drake sword early on but each black knight I killed has left me disappointed. I have ended up with two BK shields and a bunch of the Titanite.

I'm in Londo now and there's two BK archers with spears as arrows. Getting hit by one knocks you down and the ledge you have you walk on is narrow to the point where you have to stick to the wall. Fell to my death a few times but at least everything here is easy for me to kill. I just need to get to Gywnevere to see those great breasts~
I mean so i can get the warp ability for bonfires @_@.

Just watched my friend get past that part, He died so many times that he was able to time when the white bat looking things would throw their spears and roll under them. To get past the BK just run up the ramp, and ignore the one on the left. hug the wall and approach the one on the right until he pulls out his sword. He'll go to swing and should fall off, you might also be able to kick him off if you're quick. Once hes gone simply hug the ledge and turn the corner. There's a bonfire and a room with some fantastic armor through a hidden wall in the fireplace (watch out for the mimic).

Question... Am I the only one experiencing Frame-Rate Problems? During combat its fine... most of the time but during exploration it goes full retard like almost single digits.... Maybe I'm just over exaggerating

How far away are these bells at the start of the game?
What do I need to improve to move faster with armor on?

It's very easy to get, Just shoot arrows at the red dragon's tail from under the bridge in the Undead Burg.

Are miracles and spells continuous or do you have to buy again after every use?
When I started playing I thought my amount of souls was instead my current game score or some thing :P

Lol Skills do have limited number of uses but you dont have to buy them again once used. Just rest at a bonfire and it'll become usable again ;3.

With it saying it has a number of uses makes it sound like it's gone after used a lot of things aren't very clear at the start of the game.
So when you leave a covenant do you keep or loose the skills learn from the previous covenant?

You get to keep the spells but some of the items you get from them won't work anymore. I really don't understand the system yet so i can't offer that much info on it.

Just got this game yesterday for my PS3. Enjoying it. Got passed the first level/tutorial level.... Stuck on the freakin' one after it though.... :( ... Gawd dang this game is hard...
Any tips on getting past this and trying to find the bells? I have a Hunter as of right now, and she's runnin' low on arrows since I keep on dying... :(

Love Demon's Souls/Dark Souls with the intense music during boss fights, but the absence of music in most other places. The atmosphere is great. Just you and the clanking of your armor (if your armor clanks), wandering in unexplored areas seeking that next bonfire. Love it.
Is the online hit or miss for everyone else? I decided to stick around a boss I had trouble with to help others with it. Sometimes I would be summoned almost instantly, sometimes not at all. I very rarely see the white phantoms of other players, and maybe a bloodstain or two per day.
Also just joined the Forest Hunters but after waiting an hour last night and another couple hours this morning, I have yet to be summoned to kill a filthy trespasser (No offense guys, just doing my job :D )
Edit: sakabato, where are you stuck?

So far it's a bit less harder than Demon's Souls but alot more beautiful especially the forest made me droll all over my gamepad *since i like nicely made dark forests xD* Have a battlemage base build and.....HOW A MAN IS SUPPOSED TO LIVE IN THIS DARK WORLD WITH ONLY 8 MAGIC USES in BETWEEN BONFIRES?
