The thing is that your companions tend to take the things you store in there randomly. Most of the time they eat all of your food and beverages, but sometimes they take special weapons for themselves as well. Well, they technically have the stuff they take from your storage, but managing that is sometimes a bitch.I've never once had that problem in the entire 100+ hours I've clocked in on that game.
Never happened to me either... At most they will use the weapons if you give them ammo... They never eat the food

Yeah, it might sound strange, maybe even rare, but it does happen. Go here, and go to the "Notes" section of the page and read point number four and five. Yeah, you might recover the weapons they take by exchanging loot or reverse pickpocket, but I still don't like the fact that they do it on their own. As glitchy as this game is, I'd hate to lose a special weapon for whatever glitchy reason, since I like collecting them.

I never put my items into the containers in the suite

Yeah, but I do, and I still haven't had anything like that happen to me. I switch my companions a lot, depending on who's best suited for certain missions/areas. And while they're traveling with me, they're effectively my packmules, so I'm positive that they're not carrying anything they're not supposed to.

Hey I started playing this game about two weeks ago. I actually DO have the problem of companions stealing my weapons. Boone took my All-American gun. By the time I realized, I had to reload to a save that erased a few quest I did. Veronica also just comopletely LOST the plasma gun you get from the REPCONN building. I gave it to her, and then it just disappears whenever I change maps. Gone. FOREVER.
Besides all the (so very many) glitches, I am liking the game. I love punching people who are shooting me with machine guns. Boxing gloves>Assualt Rifle.

Tell me why i'm so badass. I was bored so i went to "The fort" and killed all of the legion there and caesar himself. I even chopped him up after his death. And this was done in hardcore mode. Hardcore mode is easy, all of my experience with fallout 3 can easily be applied here. But i fucked up. I can't complete a quest called "Young love" because everybody wants me dead at the crimson caravan because by accident i put on ceasar's outfit for the +5 speech bonus. I totally forgot about the whole fraction thing and so that's why i'm a target there. Has anybody finished the story yet? i need help with the quest where you have to destroy the brotherhood of steel hideout. The only 2 ways are a 100 science skill or get 3 keys cards to activate self destruct. I only have 2 which i stole from the elders but i don't know where to find the 3rd one. I pick pocked just about everyone and no luck so far.

You need to go level L2 of the bunker, where you can find Elder McNamara, Head Paladin Hardin and Head Scribe Taggart.
Note: If you helped remove Elder McNamara in the quest Still in the Dark, the Head Paladin keycard can be found on Paladin Ramos.
Just completed the Legion Ending. all that remains is the NCR ending

I just beat this game in hardcore mode over the weekend. The final boss was quite the challenge. But after figuring out on how to beat him he was no problem. I keep'd shooting him in the face with the help of TURBO and it brought his health down like crazy. After he was a really low health i put on the "Ballistic Fist" and punched him and i yelled out "shoryuken" for the final blow. I blew his helmet right off. I still have to beat the game again for the other 3 endings.

Sure, I got to the original ending of Fallout 3, but I never finished Broken Steel. And for New Vegas, I spent most of my time doing side-missions and collecting weapons and armor. Then I got Rage and completely stopped playing F:NV due to me being a complete id fanboy. Hell, I didn't even know there was a "final boss" in New Vegas until just now.

What really every fallout game has a final boss battle, hell New Vegas has 2 of them

I'll wait on the GOTY edition. 50USD is not worth it.

What exactly in fallout can be called a boss battle? When I classify a boss battle, I think of an atypical enemy that you won't see amung the other canon fodder that populate the game. Usually, they also have a unique or powerful weapon, are usually a good deal larger than you, and can take a LOT more damage than the aforementioned canon fodder. Obvious (i.e. glowing) weakspots are optional but commonplace. Oh, and the enemy having a health bar constantly on display usually helps to designate them as a boss.

The Master from Fallout 1. Frank Horrigan from Fallout 2. The Calculator from Tactics. Fallout 3 really doesn't now that I think about. The Legate Lanius from fallout New Vegas. I was going to say General Oliver but he is like Autumn from fallout 3

In Fallout New Vegas is Legato Lanius, and in the DLC there are tons of bosses:
Colonel Royes
Ulyses
Ganius Magnus
Rawr (the deathclaw)
The Queen Tunneler
The Giant Roboscorpion
They pretty much kill you with one or two blows (or shots)

There is this one boss from the DLC of fallout 3. I forgot the name of it but its some Chinese general who can be a bitch to kill unless you have high speech skills which can make commit suicide.
