Awesome!!! Big fan of Bethesda's works since the original fallout, cant wait for this one to come out!
Fallout New Vegas was announced moments ago during a Bethesda press conference in London.
The new game was revealed by Bethesda's Pete Hines who said that the publisher is working with Obsidian Entertainment on the title.
It will be coming out next year for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
"It is not a sequel to Fallout 3," Hines said. "It's simply another Fallout game in that universe."
It will be the same sort of role-playing game experience seen in Fallout 3, he said. The game's official reveal, with more details and a look at the game down the line.
Hines added that this title will have no impact on what Todd Howard and his team are working on.
Obsidian Entertainment is the development studio that rose from the ashes of Black Isle Studios, responsible for developing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Neverwinter Nights 2, Alpha Protocol, and Sega's Aliens: Crucible RPG, which is currently on indefinite hold.

Fallout: New Vegas.
The Pirate Bay.
Two things with seemingly no connection, but I know how I'll connect them.
Also, Fallout 1 and 2 may not have been made by Bethesda, but Fallout 1 and 2 sucked. Seriously.

I seriously hope no fans of Fallout 1 and 2 read that. If they do then in a matter of hours the entire forum is going to drown in a wave of hate.

You haven't even played those beautiful games. Compared to them, Fallout 3 is a fucking Oblivion with guns a.k.a. cash cow.

'I'z not trollin', meng.' Fallout 1 and 2 were GOOD back when they were released, (late '90s, for those following along but not really giving a shit) but they really didn't stand the test of time, as far as I'm concerned--and before everyone in this thread starts to mistake me for someone who thinks guns and graphics make or break a game, 90% of my favorite games are still for the early Nintendo consoles, the Dreamcast, and the original Playstation.

Yes, fallout 1 and 2 didn't fit my liking either. Tactics was better, honestly. "Fallout 3 is a cash cow," yea, whatever. Doesn't make it any less of an addicting and very entertaining experience. The styles are completely different, and I just prefer Bethesda's.
Speaking of Bethesda, I am disappoint. New Vegas is mostly just copy pasta. I would've at least appreciated some new mechanical doors. I am really hoping they fix the issues that bugged me in Fallout 3, like people flying back as if I used the force on them when it was really a shot from my pistol.

You serious? I hope they don't fix that type of shit. Gives me a good laugh when it happens. And it's not like it happens enough to ruin the game.

I hope the aiming system is a little better, sometimes when a shot clearly hit an enemy no damage happened, pissing annoying. Also do not want random moments where the game freezes for like 5 minutes.
Anyway really looking forward to the game, if they top my experience with Fallout 3 then I'll be a happy man, I didn't enjoy Fallout 3 at first but really got addicted to it after a couple of hours.
Although if New Vegas doesn't have one quest named "What happens in Vegas..." I will have to...cry. I liked the quest names in Fallout 3, yes I'm being picky and fussy about quest names feel free to slap me.

I second this, Fallout 1&2 were better than sex. On topic I will be getting Fallout as soon as the price drops.
