I know what you mean, I was thinking the same thing at first but... I mean, how freespacy could it be? If it dun reach up to the epicness of EVE-space (which it never would have), it's not worth it. Then I think some fast-paced action is better. I'm pretty interested to see how PvP combat will be implemented into this though...

Daaaamn, that is so hot. I'm actually starting to feel that maybe BioWare should make a cinematic movie instead of a game? =D jk, but I cross my thumbs that the game will be nearly as awesome.

They can certainly do awesome stuff with their trailers. *nods* Wouldn't mind seeing a similarly animated movie based on any of their games.

They wouldn't be able too, because it's not BioWare that does those trailers. Those are all done by an independent company called Blur. Many game company hire those guys since they are extremely talented

Of course, they are not the ones that actually make the cinematic, but I was more thinking in the lines of BioWare writes the plot and the story (since I'm pretty sure they are the ones that wrote the script), Blur makes the cinematic for it. Collaboration to perfection.

Little news: I was listening to EA's Webcast on the upcoming projects. John Riccitiello said the game will go in a ''high Scale'' beta phase at the end of June.

Also, I saw (but didnt save) a sheet of release date in the upcoming months. SWTOR is places in Oct - Dec. But thats just speculation.

Dang, with luck they dish out good amount of those beta invites. Been waiting for one like a year now with decent rig and all that.
This is one MMO aside World of Tanks I'm willing to play / try out.

Pretty pissed, i didn't understand why. I was nearly one of the first people to pre-order, how can i NOT get it right? I tried to find why, but it was way too late and went to sleep. Maybe i'll get my code later?

So i woke up this morning and nothing. So i decided to contact customer service. this is what I got:


It got freaking cancelled!? WTF!. So I made sure the thing was really cancelled and I pre-ordered again. And with in seconds after ordering again I was here:

Goddammit, apparently the collector's edition is too heavy for shipping over here...

Collectors ed is fucking $200 over here =( Not worth it.

*shrugs* Worth it for me. Even if I had to go to places I never thought I'd need to go to finally order it. Europe hates me apparently, but Amazon.com offers this quite nicely for international delivery as well. Expensive as hell indeed, though...

edit: A little bit of calculation gives an interesting result. Even with their higher shipping cost and the added import fees deposit, it's actually a tiny bit cheaper than buying it here. Go figure...
