Star Wars: The Old Republic will launch 12.20.2011 !!

I really didn't think they were going to pull a holiday release, but i'd love to have ANYTHING star wars under my tree.. I was also playing AION when i though.. hey i'd love to RP a break right now, in a cantina!

And now I shall proceed to find out just what all the fuss is about.

Got a email barely checked today being invited to the beta weekend oh please it was talking about next weekend(message came on Friday) Hoping I have another chance ugh damn you skyrim for being so addicting

Everyone that pre-ordered can now download the client and play on the 25 to the 28th of november

Also another bit news is that early access starts the 13th so a chance to start a week earlier from launch date

Will be on The Twin Spears (PvP US East) server

Will be in Vornskr (PvE US West)

Just got my Early Access e-mail. If their Facebook page is to be believed, in the very first wave too. 8)

And their site's waiting room is slowly getting as annoying as the "U Mad" Momoka... >_>

In any case, I'll be playing the first moment I can. For now, working day still lasts for a couple of hours. Just finished the last updates, though.

Ugh preordered late so will be near the last of waves into early access

As for servers, I can now confirm my presence on Trask Ulgo (EU RP-PvE server).

Ive never played an MMORPG before, but this is probably where im going to start.

I'm in the same boat, megablue. Not sure if I should be expecting to get it in the next day, two days, three days? Nothing left to do but wait patiently.

Been checking out the forums alot of people whining and raging not getting in day 1 of early access find it amusing. Having a hard time waiting seriously sad right now need to play other games to keep my mind off it.

In-case any of you are waiting and not keeping track of things on the swtor forums, here's some info. Third day of invites have been sent. By the looks of it, they have reached preorders up to about November 24 or 25 or so. I'm an early December preorder and on their current pace tomorrow should be the final wave!

Edit: A "waiting queue" to browse their forums... That doesn't raise my hopes for a smooth launch.

You must've got there on an especially busy moment, I have no trouble accessing the forums right now, and only saw the waiting room once for a few seconds when I was there earlier. Admittedly, I did have to wait a lot when the Early Access first started, though. But at least they've managed to build a system that does not immediately die when too many people rush in at the same time.

Yeah, I think it was the fact that so many others were also waiting for news on the waves of invites. I think it will calm down once everyone gets their EGA invites.

Edit: Well hot damn. They actually made it to me today, I'm surprised. I was about Dec 6.

My CE shipped today. Amazon tells me to expect it on the 20th, not sure how much faith I can put in that, though, usually packages take quite a bit longer to arrive here. :D
