As far as cloud is going, Sony is doing it as well, in a much better way too.Not the same thing. Microsoft is making it possible for developers to put out processing and rendering on Microsoft's servers, via the cloud. Meaning that it allows for the system to prioritize "important" or heavy rendering while pushing out less important parts onto the cloud server. This is probably one of the reasons to why, spec-wise, the X1 is pretty inferior to the PS4.
To put it simply. Microsoft will allow you to stream(it's not a stream, but the effect is fairly similar) your bought game while you at the same time play it from your machine in order to put less burden or your machine. And allow me to point out that this is a feature available for the developers, and that it isn't something that all games will do, nor will it be a requirement.
This is something that Sony isn't doing. Sony is allowing you to share 5-second shots instead of images. There's quite the difference.
To get your panties even more in a jiffy, this would require your Xbox to be online while playing, obviously, and Microsoft said that they hope that developers will utilize this function.

I'm not entirely sure what fault you find with it.
That, sir, is precisely the problem. I ran out of shit to skewer you with, so bad grammar was next on the list.

Whoever made this is a genius.
Anyway, I wasn't going to buy any new-gen console, but if they hope to sell this junk and make a profit, then I guess they are more stupid than I thought. PS4 is gonna dominate the market (and this comes from a devoted Xbox 360 player).

The newsroom has been active since a report attached to a brick has been flung through our window.
Amazon UK Wii U sales destroy the roof as Microsoft ejaculates greed all over Britfucks.
Wii U's sales had blasted up by 875% on Amazon UK, moving it from the 390th position to the 40th position since the abysmal reveal of the Xbox One on Tuesday
At the time of publishing of this article, the Wii U on Amazon UK's site sits in the top 11, having moved up from the 40th spot

I heard another window break. In other news, Troll in Britland (if you get a 404, remove fakku . net from the address) owns domains of xboxone for .com and .net. Microsoft registered every imaginary name except for the real one. They filed a complaint; what whiny cunts.
That is all.
Edit: No it's not. Another brick said hello.
Mandatory kinectivity confirmed. The eye won't let you have too many viewers of that content, dave.
ExtremeTech reports that the patent is for tech that sees Kinect monitoring how many people are in a room at once.
The bottom line is that the filing reads, “The users consuming the content on a display device are monitored so that if the number of user-views licensed is exceeded, remedial action may be taken.”

"Man, all these imaginary numbers about how piracy is hurting our industry is really not affecting us. We really need to take some action on how to fix this!"
"But sir, how do you propose to do that?"
"Easy. We'll just put into some highly stringent procedures that will not only not solve the problem we imagined is way bigger than it really is but will also alienate our dedicated fanbase pushing them onto our competitors and won't do a damn thing about the actual pirates who will be seen as heroes when they hack through our shitty system."
"BRILLIANT!"
Oh and.
"I heard you like watching TV. Well with just the low price of $500 dollars you now have to option to watch TV on your TV."

Oh my.
This is so bad it's hilarious. So basically not only Microsoft grenaded itself out of the gaming console market, but also gave a gigantic boost to Nintendo? Epic.
But hilarity aside, I can't understand what kind of drug they smoked when they developed this... thing. It's like Steam or Games for Windows installed in a console AND much worse when compared to the ones we're all familiar with. An own goal has never been so spectacular.

So, any thoughts on whether or not Microsoft smartens up, realizes they are fucking themselves over, and changes thing.
Or do you think they are going to continue to go full retard into this?
I mean they have the numbers that shows them just what the consumers thought of their reveal so they SHOULD know what is going to happen if they leave it as is.

My guess is that they won't change anything, since that would mean admitting they're wrong. If they admit they're wrong, that would hurt their pride or something. I think that they're just going to say that consumers are idiots for not wanting to pick up something this groundbreaking. Not those exact words, but you get the idea.

Hrm, I wonder how much of their revenue is dependent on the Xbox.
I don't see too many exclusives for the next xbox either if the developers know what they are doing.
