Being on the internet does show who you really are. It has no boundaries and you can say whatever you want that is on your mind. Unlike being outside in society, people feel limited to what they say or do because of others around them.True, but it's also a lot easier to lie online.

I once had a girlfriend get very very angry at me about FAKKU. I think I made a post before explaining it in detail. But after she found out she came on the forums and read a topic about people enjoying incest hentai and she started yelling.SOME PEOPLE JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.
Should've punched her in the mouth.

Marvel has failed so hard with this new show
I saw a commercial for it today and I thought to myself, "I bet I could make a lot of money off a reality show about me shitting."
I think its worth considering. Obviously, if a person can't kill him/herself, it's a lot to ask someone else to do it for them, but if it means that the person won't have to suffer for the remainder of their life, I can't say there's anything wrong with it. If you think there's nothing wrong with letting a person suffer against their own will, you're fucked up, period. Technology might give us a lot more than is naturally afforded to us, but we're still human. Just because we can keep people alive, doesn't mean that we should.
Taking a life is always such a touchy subject, even if a person is terminally ill, or otherwise incapable of surviving without assistance, and begging for someone to kill them because they are physically incapable of doing it themselves. The ironic thing about many of our "advanced" cultures is that when a patient requests a DNR, or whatever, others may be able to take that away because the patient "isn't capable of making that decision for him/herself." We're allowed to hook a person up to machines that feed them and breathe for them, but if you deny them that "privilege," without their consent, you might be fucked, depending on where you are.

This might actually be worth moving to SD.
Honestly, I think the only reason why socializing online is an issue, as far as time management is concerned, is because there really isn't a precedent for it in human history. Most of the time, people model their lives after what has worked in the past. Sure, there are cases of people having great successes in life through socialization over the internet, but if you weigh that against history and social norms, there really isn't anything there. I'm pretty sure that, in its infancy, no one could have expected the impact the telephone would have had on people's lives. With all technological innovations, there's an intangible element that relies on human ingenuity. If you think you're wasting your time being online and communicating with people, it might be true, but you never know who you'll meet or what kind of connections you'll make.

this thread still exists? lolUnless the thread gets locked and this remains on the first 4 or 5 pages, the CSAA rates the threat level of this thread coming back somewhere between yellow and gamboge. Personally, I'm not 100% sure about gamboge, due to my own uncertainty regarding what exactly gamboge is. My personal assessment is that it could be anything within the range of orange peel and tangerine, but I'm not in charge of risk assessment and color assignment. I will say, it definitely isn't high enough to be orange, but Intelligence is informing me that erring on the side of caution, at the moment and with their understanding of colors, it would be best to say that the risk level is at worst, gamboge.
If you didn't understand that, you have less to be worried about than the people who did.
Chick: "Is anything made here anymore."
Dude: "Well let's see, there's me, there's you, and... uh... depending on how many kids we have..."
Some people on an episode of Cold Case talking about shit being made in America.
