Is it just me or does the gameplay just look like FFXVIII.... I am interested as an RPG fan, but the gameplay I seen so far really hasn't impressed me enough. It could be good I just don't see it yet.

Just watch videos of Xenoblade (the Wii one) gameplay for further examples. XCX's system looks like it will be an improvement on that in some ways, but not drastically different.

I'm still very excited for the game, although the narrative in Monolith Soft games don't really work well with self-insert customizable characters.

If you had to represent Namco Bandai with a Tales of character (and really, that's a bad decision to make anyway, compared to choosing a real mascot like Pacman), why not go for an older, more recognizable face? Like Lloyd or Luke, or maybe even Kratos.

...Because they're newer?

Xillia characters haven't appeared on a Nintendo system, so no, they never had a chance.

I don't remember people being turned off by Melee when it came out

There were definitely people turned off by Melee. After all, the transition from 64 to Melee was sort of like that one DBZ episode where Goku, while traveling through space to Namek, had to contend with 100 times Earth's normal gravity. So many SDs back in those days...

Hopefully when Smash 4 comes out, the competitive community won't blow itself up again now that we all know the scene won't fall apart just because the latest game wasn't the greatest thing ever.
I'm not a fan of how there was no display of the percent of territory "captured", so I hope that they will at least add that in. Otherwise, I'm actually pretty excited about this.

anyone care to explain to me the ending of this manga (last chapter)? i dont get it..did aki return to sora's side and will stay with him (shown on the grave scene)or did she totally left sora and only came to visit him? i dont get what is aki's choice/decision?

Just pointing out that this thread is for "Ai Kora" NOT "Aki-Sora".
Movie 1:
This was pretty good. Like the only issue I had with it is that the fight scenes are still not all that interesting like in P4, but at least the characters fight with their weapons.

I'm still am not sure if this manga was cut or if the mangaka ended on purpose?

From what I've heard, the author's health has been rather questionable, but he wanted to finish the series. So no doubt he had forced himself to hurry some of the story along.
I thought this had no chance of getting a second season, but I'm really happy to be proven wrong in this case.

Did I still love the anime? Of course. I doubt it will get another season though I would love to see it progress one more time through their final year in high school or maybe after school like Clannad did.

Doubtful it will get anymore since the LN only published 2 books. This season being the 2nd book.

Here you go. It doesn't get more official than a store that is linked from their home page that has a third novel listed as being on-sale on the 7th.
Chapter 267:
Spoiler:
If this is real and not a fake-out, then I'm pretty satisfied that the second-best girl was chosen (with Tenri being the best). At least Keima's dad will only be wrongfully blamed for having only one daughter from an affair now.

WHUAT THE FUUUUUCCCC~~~~~K?

My thoughts exactly.
Spoiler:
Especially considering that Wakaki has seemed to have been intentionally ignoring Elsie as much as he possibly can and only using her when the plot calls for it; making her the personification of a plot device. Actually, after putting it that way I suppose I'm not really surprised after all.

As much of a introvert as Hakuya is, he went out of his way to inconvenience her and her family for the opportunity that the show revolves around. Nothing establishes, why he stops pushing there. He wanted romantic development, or so the engagement suggest, so his lack of pushing, for me, after such a huge push, got to me as a huge contradiction.

An understandable perspective to have. In all honesty, you're correct in that view. I see it as something easily forgiven though. Why? Because the engagement/living together is part of the premise. And premises are dumb, dumb, dumb. I can't name a single piece of media that has a premise that couldn't be picked apart. And well... when you pick apart a premise, the entire story just sort of collapses.

I'm thankful for the final Hakuya/Kobeni moment we got to experience, but it seems to be the general consensus that it left us all wanting more. At least an "I love you" or something. Meh.

I can understand where you're coming from, but I think the slow-burn romance the anime has is correct considering we are dealing with two introverted characters. Though there is something to be said for preparing an appropriate narrative climax for a romantic relationship at the end of an adaptation.
This was a pretty fun show to watch despite being pretty average. Unlike its predecessors, I felt like KLK's over-the-top-ness was its only redeeming quality.

My only real disappointment though is that we never hear Junketsu talk despite being a "rival" to Senketsu.

If you read the light novel, and saw the OVA, then it would've been obvious, as that is all there is to continue with this series.

Well, I had heard that the first season only really covered the first novel. I wasn't sure that this season was based on the second novel since I kept hearing things about how the show had deviations from the novel even in the first season. I haven't read the novels yet since I wanted to wait until after the anime was done. And now there is a third volume of the LN being made...
Spoiler:
I have to say, I really didn't expect this season to be about Satone, so I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm also pleased that every opportunity this show has had to ruin it by introducing a love triangle has been averted.

I was hoping for a nice yuri series, but this has way too much male gaze for my liking.

Spoiler:
The first episode was centered around "kisses", but there were plenty of thigh and boob shots as well as some upward panning.

I'm no expert- but I think lesbians would be prone to be looking at the same areas that we do.

Probably, yeah. But I just felt it was done too much even during the short period that things were platonic. That's all.
Mako gets her old clothes back thanks to the magic of animation errors.

Spoiler:
I really shouldn't be surprised, but Satsuki looks really good wearing Senketsu. With her wearing black along with her long hair, she now strangely fits into that really old female school gangster look.

[size=29]CALLED IT, BITCHES[/h][/spoil]

Good call.

Apparently, in this series, power is equivalent to bitchiness.
Spoiler:
Which would explain why Ryuko is a lot stronger after being a bitch to Senketsu. And why Ragyo is the top dog.
Spoiler:
Fully expecting Ragyo to be killed by Junketsu. He has been silent for far too long and I doubt he likes being worn by an old hag like Ragyo.
