Episode 18:
Spoiler:
The moment Haruto's dad was brought up, I wondered how crazy he would be. Turns out he's pretty crazy, even more so than Amuro's post-oxygen-deprived father.

At least Saki will be relevant again since she will get her body back next episode.

Well... that was sad.

Spoiler:
It would have been sad, if it wasn't as obvious as the location of the church with its church benches and stained glass windows.
Interesting that they would decide to do an anime of this Atelier rather than do an anime of Ayesha when that first came out. Gokumi seems to be a decent enough studio as well, so this might turn out to be a pretty good adaptation.
Episode 4 certainly was the most Looney Tunes episode yet.
Episode 15:
Spoiler:
Another pre-OP timeskip. And it adds only more questions. The "godmother" seems likely to be Akira, but is that guy Satomi or a really similar-looking descendent? And Marie is now a whole new can of worms.
Episode 4:
Spoiler:
Did berserker Akihito really need to be that powerful for the narrative to work? He seemed more powerful than the Hollow Shadow (or whatever the other sub groups are calling it). It seems to be overkill when he is already immortal. That said, I am interested in the political intrigue that was started this episode.
I'm liking the series thus far. Man, that song that plays whenever God is on the phone is hilarious.
The game seems to be shaping up pretty well after seeing people getting used to the mechanics on the stream. Seems like they are planning for a decently-sized roster as well. And a game that lets you kick the crap out of Kirino can't be all that bad.
It's certainly animated extremely well, but this anime doesn't appear to be up my alley from what I've seen. Our two lead characters aren't really all that great and the love polygon is already obvious from the first episode. Also, Akari is an idiot.
A very pleasant surprise! Another rare case of 1st season -> OVAs -> 2nd season.
Episode 13:
Spoiler:
Apparently, providing "interesting" things for Valve-tan is the fuel for the Valvraves. Haruto's characterization was pretty strong this episode. He was willing to lock himself away so he wouldn't harm people, yet he also understood that if he let himself die, nothing would really change. It would just involve more people and create new victims. While he may have made a new pact with L-Elf, there's no telling if that will be enough to keep Valve-tan satisfied.
I haven't read the novels or manga so I really hope the OP is a red herring and didn't just spoil a major relationship change that happens in the series. Aside from that, it seems a good start to this series.
Watched the first episode and I couldn't help but think it would be nice if the "stupidity" wasn't always in our faces.
Spoiler:
I mean, high school girl outfits? Really? You're going to send girls, on foot, with schoolbags and skirts into a ruined, irradiated city? No bicycles, no hiking bags, no sensible outfits?

On another note, the animators couldn't seem to make up their minds about how thick to make the character outlines.
Finally finished this series. Good ending to a good series. Rei did seem to get the worst end of the stick, but it turned out well enough in the end. And Kou discovers Marin's shady past.

Saori gets no rejection scene though. What the hell?

Saori's unique in that she's the only girl who never took an interest in Kyousuke. She is easily one of the best girls though, dem spiral glasses.

Except the last couple episodes were pretty much going through a checklist to make sure Kyousuke rejected all the girls... And the lack of a Saori rejection makes Saori's flirting during the "apartment party" all the more awkward.
I'll probably get a 2DS sometime. The 3D is a neat feature, but I couldn't ever see myself using it too much. The larger form factor is good for me since my hands always felt somewhat cramped holding my DS. Looks like it might also be a bit better if set on a table while playing a very touch-oriented game. I don't travel much, so I usually play my portables at home, though it's not like something that's smaller than a tablet is hard to carry around.
Well,
Spoiler:
that was all kinds of terrible. If you were entertained I have no qualms with you, but if you thought that was actually "good", well... (insert maniacal laughter here). It did in three episodes what Haganai Next and OreShura did in one episode, ruin almost everything.

Right away, Kuroneko gets rejected. I can handle that and the scene itself was played out very well, but then we go straight into romcom antics with Kirino. Awkward transition for sure. So fast-forward past the part where Saori and her sister are suddenly on good terms with no exposition, Kyousuke confesses to Kirino, which went pretty well. But then we get a confession from Kanako, a character that never really mattered or had any sort of development. She gets rejected then it's back to romcom antics. (Saori gets no rejection scene though. What the hell?)

And then we get Final Boss Manami. That's right, the girl who has barely showed up all season and was only (kinda) foreshadowed as being manipulative once. So here I am, thinking, "Well, now the show has the perfect chance to make Kirino sympathetic by showing that Manami is manipulative (no matter how ridiculous it may seem). Surely he can't fuck this up again." And then Kirino starts acting like a real bitch again. She had the moral high ground and could've let Manami blow herself up, but no, far be it for Kirino to act as a decent human being for once.

Then, something happened. Something that affirmed my belief that Manami is the best girl. She immediately punched Kirino in the gut; an event I have long awaited for. It was totally out of her established character, but it was damn awesome!

There are people who edited their saves to OP themselves and caused corrupted save data that affected other online players. If you resurrected one of these Japanese players with hacked equipment/stats it would corrupt your save file.

They basically hex-edited their saves but there were problems. Something like setting the damage to really high or defense really high would result in negative values. SO, what happened was these players were taking higher damage and doing less damage than normal stats do because there is a cap and they broke that. The last patch fixed a few things. People can't max their durability on items to 9999 and it is now capped to 4000-ish. You also can't max out defense to 255 on any piece of def gear.

I haven't figured out what has been corrupting people's save files, but I doubt it's the hacked equipment. Hacked equipment would merely freeze the game pre-patch when selected. It didn't have anything to do with breaking any caps as far as I'm aware. If it did, my game would've blown up the moment I was partnered with the hacking players. The hacked equipment pre-patch would have 9 attributes on them, but the most normal equipment can have is 8. A normal 8-attribute item obtained via Bury will have "(Cannot be repaired)" as the 9th attribute. However, with hacked equipment that attribute gets placed into a "10th" attribute slot. The game possibly gets stuck in a loop trying to access the 10th slot since the item data says it's there, which might be why the music and other things in the background continue to operate normally.
The respec potions are also like any other item in that they are shared between characters.

The patch came out today, really helps speeds things up with people no longer having to click the sparkles and L1 being an item shortcut. Hacked items are sort of fixed. The one I had from some JP player's bones no longer freezes when I highlight it, but the attributes still displayed absurd percentages like "Damage Taken -407%".

I'm currently on Hard at Level 50. Is it possible to get to 99 without going to multiplayer? A lot of my PSN friends told me the easiest way is to chain run LoC with them but my internet has been awful lately. I often get disconnected at random intervals.

I'm using an Elf and she's been pretty versatile. Clonestrike and mid-air charged shots are my best friends but going solo at Hard has been pretty challenging. I'm afraid Inferno might be too much when played solo.

It's better to do chain runs of the usual dungeons at the highest difficulty possible with the highest increase score prayer rather than doing LoC. You shouldn't be having much trouble if you go solo Elf. I went solo Elf with little issue in Hard since at Lv.35+ her skills really let her power through things.
