You're trying to be so precise that you've got some of the details wrong.
her synthesizing ability
More of like a built-in special thermal goggle which determines who and where the enemies are hiding. Not too shabby for such a handy ability. 8)
used her special ability to find a possible escape route
Did she even have to rely on it just to make an exit? (come on now)
one bullet each
Not exactly... watch it again more carefully and you'll see that she shot 3 enemies at least a couple of times. (you're giving her way too much credit)
running away from the snake group
Since Liang Qi did receive a certain call concerning Canaan, you could say that. But not to forget the other group that was mentioned (Ambloom?)... I wouldn't be so sure about Snake as the only group working in the shadows. For all we know, the call may have come from a mere informant in the area (not from one of the gunmen).

How about the crazy people with bear heads?Possibly the "survivors" from what was assumed to be the Snake's attack.

test subjects? Really?! (j/k)
As for the people, it could be that such an incident is something that's very common to them that they simply have gotten used to it and could no longer care less. In other words, it's as if they're "extremely" not-accepting/ignoring/evading the truth that's just right before their eyes (and senses). In our own dialect, "nag-bu-bulag-bulagan".
And as for my other concerns, PA Works did a real awesome job in the animation department, that I almost totally forgot about them. Story wise, if they haven't already made it so obvious in the OP, Liang Qi and Alphard are siblings. Pretty much a given judging from how Liang Qi has implied that she'd be soon welcoming her sister and that she had personally come out to help Alphard escape. Well, that's all for now. I haven't really given much thought on how its plot would go on from here.
Here's the ED (to also give an end to this post of mine)

Lol maybe I was trying to be a bit too precise, but if you watch the episode again try to analyze the scene at the DAEDALA Corporation. They talk about Synthesia with IFF technology.

I agree with Jonoe on most of his points/theories, although I'm not sure if it was Snake group or not.
What I'm wondering now is...
Also, Maria is the only one I don't like so far.

Why is that?

Just for the record, I ain't likin Maria very much either. There's no real reason, it's "just" her character I believe. She's somewhat the comic relief of the series, and Yunyun of course, but aside from that... her character's depth has yet to be found. The fact that after seeing the second episode and learning of her "circumstance" didn't even help at all. Though I wouldn't deny that she's quite attractive and hilarious; Especially in the car chase sequence where she sang along with the "sick" taxi driver who was so fuckin hilarious  yet freakin awesome 8) at the same time!
...
I'm so glad... I made the right decision in marrying those siblings. :D As I feared though, Liang Qi and I aren't so compatible; we're more similar in personality than I thought. Well, I like how she released her frustrations out on Cummings by shooting him with a pellet gun several times. I was laughing all while he was moaning to every shot/hit he gets. *Having quite a sadistic personality myself, I hate the fact that someone whom I'm inflicting pain on is simply taking pleasure in it; that said, he creeped me out as well.
...
Alphard finally spoke. :D While I believe that there's no need for me to repeat myself over and over again, Maaya Sakamoto and Rie Tanaka are two of my favorite seiyuus and I just love hearing their voices (both in acting & singing). Such a delightful treat this series is, indeed. Plus there's also Haruka Tomatsu whose talent and versatility simply couldn't help but amaze me.
...
If there's anything more to add...
Making good use of every character is definitely a plus. :D

Hey, has anyone else noticed that CANAAN's gun looks an awful lot like(and probably is) a USP?

Man, Liang Qi and Cummings' antic is getting old real fast.
I didn't enjoy the third episode too much, only until the false threat part.
I must admit, I'm not pleased with Canaan's child-like demeanor(even if she's actually a child alright). While there's no telling yet the exact horrible things that girl went through, I just can't help it but be annoyed over the time they've wasted on fooling around. My comprehension is still in tact and I can definitely understand the whole setup used for the episode. The problem is, I'm getting sick of looking at mostly Canaan and Maria's faces in the past three episodes. (no wonder...)
If there's any consolation, it would be the latter half as I've said earlier. It was also nice to know that YunYun isn't just your ordinary extra-hardworking part-timer. Chances are she'd have a much bigger role to play later on and that's one thing to look forward to. It was likewise amusing to see Mino loosen up a bit thanks to Hakko. While it didn't come as a shock to see that "mark" (which seems to resemble a Lycoris Radiata) in her body, I do wonder what she's capable of doing. I bet she's very lucky to have had met/known Santana, who's quite overly protective of her (I bet as well).
Lastly, all I wish is to see Alphard in all of her glory; with or without lipstick... I wonder what kind of gathering will they be attending next episode.

Ok, so, I've watched the three episodes available atm and I'm very pleased by this anime. It's pretty original - and I like that. I can feel it's gonna be an awesome anime in the future by the way the story has opened up in these few episodes.
True dat. Canaan should be more badass in personality.
Btw, how come you didn't like the third chapter? Was it because of the whole Canaan and Maria focus? I can agree to some degree, but it felt as a build-up episode. I mean, we found out that...
Oh, and I now know who the chick on your avatar is, it's Alphard - yay~
She looks so cool - can't wait for her to become a bigger part in the series featuring her more.

I don't know why I'm getting overly too lazy in posting and seriously at that but if it could somehow help you out my friend, I'll say a few things.
Though it really makes me wonder why nobody even tries to answer your questions... I can only come within two conclusions: 1) The users who are watching this are either dumb, or 2) They hate my gut, my thread, my everything. And if you ask me, it's likely the latter... perhaps due to my monopolizing of the threads in this section. (What can I fuckin do if it just so happens that I love animes so much?!)
Moving on to the matter at hand...
The explosion near the end, on Canaan's side of the coin, is the van that Santana and Hakko was on to while making the most questionable/mysterious(?) surveillance in the series yet.
Yes, they're the most suspicious couple in the series for me right now. I can't tell which side/group they've aligned themselves with nor do I've got any idea on whom they might be working for. From all that I can figure out at this point, it could be possible that they themselves set up that explosion.
Also considering that if you still do remember the details, particularly the remaining masked-person who sought their help, who was in fact being targeted and most probably not only by a single group(SNAKE)... That's why.
The sequence after Santana left the alley where they've parked the van... where only the lower body/leg of several people walking around the area could only be seen... Hakko, moments later, left the alley as well even though he had told her to just wait... And if I do recall correctly, someone else was seen leaving the premises just before the said explosion occurred. - Can you follow where I'm getting at? (I'm really not good in explaining things)
Just ask if there's something in particular, out of what I've said that you didn't quite understand.
I don't think anyone was actually killed in that scene as no corpse was practically seen... Or at the very least, no one of that much importance. If I have to make sense out of what the goons did with the blood, it was probably to scare them off or to sniff them out... and as a result, Mino & Maria lost a place to stay for the night.
In any case, don't think too much about it.
I bet that kid was working on his own at that time and after what happened to his brother, perhaps he had simply lost the will to live and was practically searching for a place to die, or someone who could kill him. And just to make things a little bit more exciting, he thought of setting it up just like how he did... and I would definitely have to say that it did turn out to be a hell lot of fun.
Don't you go so suddenly deep on me buddy. As cliched as that sounds, that's just about it right there.
The people with the "mark" whom you have mentioned are all insignificant characters anyway (except for Hakko), thus I don't give to much crap about them and their abilities. Even so, it was nice of you to point that out and although your English needs some more work, you did well with your comment on Hakko. (I know what you mean) -But still, ALPHARD FTW! :D
PS: Xel Naga might be able to help you out in the avatar-making department.

Yea but look here in Episode 2.
First you see some guy from police or militär in the room of the reporter that check the clothes.
Spoiler:
They found the virus on the clothes.
Then after a time you see that Liang Ji get a call.
"What is it"
"Oh, the daughter of that repulsive old man"
(what for a daughter ? repulsive old man ?)
"Finish her off"
Spoiler:
Again the Hotel room of the reporter ?
Two other guy from the snake clan ?
That was my realy question hermitVI ;)

Hmm interesting assumption but do you think that is so easy ?
Why he don t take revenge for his brother ?
I think there more behind this but i don t know in the moment ;)
We will see it ;)

First, let me correct some facts where you're mistaken.
They didn't exactly find the virus in the piece of clothing. All they did find was traces of it as it is in fact Maria's belonging, whom we all know was infected and is a carrier of the virus. Also, it was Maria's room and not Mino's (whom I believe is a journalist rather than of a reporter).
Have you already forgotten that in the same episode, there was a flash back where Mino and his editor in chief was discussing about Maria? They talked about how she was forcefully infected with the virus and that her father was a part of the research labs which I do believe has some working/business relations with SNAKE, if not directly under them.
With that said, it wouldn't be so surprising how Liang Qi knows about Maria's father whom she referred to as the "repulsive old man" in that particular call, meaning that the "repulsive old man's daughter" would be no one else but Maria.
Look at it this way, who can they possibly kill in Maria's empty room? The stuff toy? lol -And as ordered, Maria and Mino(who was unfortunately with her during that time) were just so suddenly assaulted, chased, and almost got killed; if not for that kickass taxi driver and Canaan's intervention later on (whom those two lunatics switched their target into).

Because I said so. No, really, I said "I bet", not I'm sure of it. Anyway, judging from what I saw, it was as simple as that. I must say that my confidence is all due to my experience of watching countless numbers of anime.

Why he don t take revenge for his brother ?Cause he didn't wanna? Seriously, if he really had wanted to, he could have at the very least easily disposed of Maria. As I see it, he already had successfully taken such a sweet revenge. Even though he hadn't exactly killed Canaan (which I do think that he himself believes to be an impossible task on his own), the tiny doubt that he had planted inside of Maria's head/heart about Canaan is plenty enough of a pay back. -To be rejected and practically lose her one and only friend has considerably dealt such a huge blow for Canaan. (serves her right!)

Say WHAT?! You don't honestly believe she deserved that? You.. you mean bastard xD
Hm.. But it was seriously interesting - I hope some progress on Canaan's personality came from all of this.
