CANAAN ~428 The Animation~

God fucking damn it; that's one annoying cliff hanger at the end of ep 4 >.<
And, Alphard is seriously HOT. (and yes, I had to use Italic, bold and underline it)
I liked the Shan dude - he was cool
On another not, the whole Lian Qi shooting Cummings with a soft air gun or w/e is is getting dull.
Now, if it would be a CanaanxAlphard ending I'd die happy

During episode 3, does anyone know what series that comercial was for? it was CLAMP animation, and even though I think it was a joke, the subs said it was about lelouch from code geass.

@razama:
As far as I'm concerned, I only saw 2 anime-related ads from gg's third episode release and neither of those are exactly CLAMP's; the mid-part commercial being Spice & Wolf II and the end-part would be Bakemonogatari.
If you saw anything aside from those 2, how about you (screen)cap it and post it for me to determine... Btw, just so you know, Kobato -one of CLAMP's original manga creations- will be getting an anime-adaptation set for this years autumn (October). Could it be that?
Duh? Would she become mai waifu if she wasn't?
You SHADDUP!! (though I wouldn't mind if you'll just die whenever) -but since you're posting your ass off, will you reconsider putting-off your demise for later?
Yeah right, like that will ever happen? -I'd rather have Alphard die than to see her end up with that Canaan. Seriously, mai waifu taught her one lesson she shouldn't dare to forget; she should be very grateful.
On another note, while Sham sure looks to be an admirable guy at first glance, keep in mind that he was killed for a reason. The WHY(s) may be unknown at this point but as implied, the motive was clearly of revenge. That being said, I'd like to believe that Alphard had all the just reasons for doing so. Also, Sham may have been long 6-feet-under the earth's surface but he's likely the missing link which connects this series altogether. Mysteriously looking good guys like him usually keeps the darkest and dirtiest 'little' secrets...
But still, isn't mai waifu the most adorable "femme fatale" of them all? :D
(I suppose I ain't really one to rave about mai waifus)
A few other comments:
-I'm impressed, Santana sure knows how to keep a lady entertained. Nice trick he has there, unlike Mino who only seems to care about a woman's bust-size.
-Yunyun's real job is to keep a look out on Maria. For whom and for what reasons, I could only guess.
-Alphard shouldn't have gone easy on Canaan. She should have at least added another hole in her body. Run away now deary. The next time you try to kill someone like mai waifu, make sure that you have got the will to do so.
-Maria and Canaan could "reconcile", for all that I care, and rot together in oblivion for the rest of eternity!
-Cummings sure is one lucky bastard who seems to be the only character who's truly enjoying himself in every single episode thus far.
-The taxi-driver did show up but had no crazy new stunt to show for. He's probably saving it for later, that is if he ever shows up again. :D

Very good Episode.
Alphard play with Canaan, like a cat play with a mouse.
I think she want Canaan on her side. ("come to dark side Canaan")
Maria want Canaan back finally she realise what she did wrong.
But she is really selfish if she want all time saved.
Sometimes i have the feeling Maria is like a Barby doll.
Yunyun is the interesting character now for me is there more behind this ?
Why the hell she is every time at the same place where maria is ?
I mean, she is like everywhere!
Bad luck ? Stalker ? Detective ? Spy ?
Shan was cool and very smart i think he is the teacher of alphard to.

Nvm about the commercial, I was just reading the subs, and I guess they thought it was funny to put during the commerical, "Lelouch was the cart driver, watch his and furry Kallen's adventures in Code Geass season 3".
It was indeed a clip of Spice and Wolf. XD

lol, since alphard is somewhat now categorized as a "antagonist", maybe the next batch will have her lol. :)

I can't wait for all of the wacky hijunks going on between those two this week.
...that and the yuri pics that come along with new friendships.

Well, episode 5 was certainly interesting.
One of the best parts was the developing friendship between Maria and Yun Yun. It made me "daww!" several times. However, I also felt bad for all three of the girls. Canaan, for once, because she's having a hard time juggling between her duties and making Maria happy, although the ending sequence was quite touching in that respect. And Maria, who's blissfully unaware of the terrorist actions and such going on, but still wants everyone to get along.
I'm also really enjoying how all of the characters are slowly coming together. That's a real nice touch.
And finally, we learn about the marks.
Can't wait til next week.

Alphard, as "The Boss", is way too awesome. She's the only one who gets to sit down in a meeting while all of her underlings can just stand the hell up for as long as it's done.
As for the revelation of to whom YunYun was working for, it was just as I feared. (I love it) :D While I truly do feel sorry for her, I'm madly in love with mai waifu more than ever; Liang Qi clearly shone the brightest more than anyone else in this episode. Although I just can't help it but worry that she might haven't been eating well to chow down on something inedible. But the real question is, will she ever succeed in disposing off Canaan? -As I've said before, we're so much alike and not only in our desire to kill the series' lead. As "possessive" as she is, I can quite understand why she detests Canaan so badly; not to mention that her sister and Canaan have some things in common that she doesn't.
Seriously now, not that I'm not serious with anything that I've said before this mind you. The episode left us with quite a few things to speculate about. The problem is, I'm no good in doing so alone. If only someone could raise some questions for me to think about, that's the only time when I can actually do some speculating.
Btw, Angie did an incredible job of summing up the entire episode. I find it hard to believe that I'm actually in a complete agreement of everything "in general" that another user had said (other than me). :) However, that doesn't necessarily mean that I do feel the same way, particularly in regards to the whole "girlie friendship" stuff that occurred. Nevertheless, it's quite refreshing to see things from a different perspective/point-of-view; a female's to be precise.
What can you say about Hakko? I bet you'd all agree when I say that she's so damn intriguing.
I was thinking if her incapacity to speak has a sort of connection to whatever her Borner ability is; that could possibly put her in danger or could either be harmful to someone else. She must be special somehow, may it be in a positive or a negative note; if not an utter failure.
I'll end it there for now... got some more important business to attend to.

Maybe with Hakko, if she speaks she will unlease some destructive power.
Not really serious about this, but if it happens, you heard it here folks.
Looking back that might explain why she and the bar tender (I forget his name), were dealing with Alphard's side at the begining of the series: They needed the medicine. What are they going to do now that it looks like they cut ties?

Oh yes, I'm definitely intrigued about Hakko, (and thanks for the rep, btw ^.^). I'm pretty sure that because she's a borner she cannot talk, but that means that she probably has some other abilities as well. And I'm wondering why she is in China as well. I don't think she has a connection to the terrorists, or maybe she did in the past but some how got away from them. I'm not sure.
And does anyone think that whenever the mark is on the Borner's body indicates what special ability or quirk they have?

Looking back that might explain why she and the bar tender (I forget his name), were dealing with Alphard's side at the begining of the series: They needed the medicine. It could have been a valid possibility if you had come up with it a couple of episodes back. Not that it’s no longer plausible but ever since episode 4, when Santana was seen together with Natsume -refusing to accept his paycheck-, it’s highly unlikely.

And I'm wondering why she is in China as well.Cause the Ua Virus, in which every Borner rooted from, originated from there?

If she had anything to do with them and only had managed to escape, then how come she’s not being hunted-down? With Snake’s network, I doubt finding her would ever be a problem; that is if they do of course need her.

does anyone think that whenever the mark is on the Borner's body indicates what special ability or quirk they have? Not really. First we have the "old-coot" who was pumping with adrenaline thanks to his two hearts, had his mark on his forehead. Then we have the "kid" brother who can reconstruct his body mass, with his mark being at the palm of his left hand. Lastly, YunYun, who’s as useless as the two appendixes she's got, has hers at her "behind". So with them in mind, nothing's really indicated through their marked spots.
EDIT: Btw, what do you guys think about the 3 planned and upcoming Compilation Movies that would make up the entire 13 episode series?
CANAAN Gets 3 Movies Starting this October

I dunno about the movies...really. I mean, if they included a lot of new footage or explained the plot a bit more, then surely I would watch it. Otherwise, it's really not necessary.

Hey BITCH! (couldn't help it, sorry) -you might really want to ask Jacob to replace your name with something less vulgar/profane, bro.
On a much serious note, don't you have anything else to add aside from just that info. Not that I don't appreciate what you did but I certainly would appreciate it more if you could provide me with a few more stuff to think about. Something like... what do you think or what can you say about this and that, from the previous installments of the series(?). What I'm saying is that we should make things a little bit more interactive around here.
In any case, I haven't seen episode 6 yet and neither do I plan on watching it till tomorrow, and with subs from gg. I'd rather continue on with my one sided speculations/discussions at the moment more than anything else.
@Angie: I truly appreciate your efforts in trying to keep up with me. Just go ahead and say it if ever you disagree with any of my ideas; no need for reservations. (+rep)

Ah, gotcha. I will definitely keep that in mind. And yeah, I'll be waiting for gg's subs as well.
