Leave the poor girl alone already. She's rather cute ... in a very distinctive kind of way. And halla fun too. Reminds me of my Nena somewhat ... She bathes frequently too and has a great taste in lingerie.
Besides the chances of her surviving the next two episodes are about as large as me becoming the next president of Afghanistan so your bloodlust should soon be quenched.

I believe I haven't posted all of the images I've collected since the series started... Only a few has mai waifus' solo anyway so I probably wouldn't bother with those.

Please don't make it sound like your waifu even matters so much more than what her role actually is. And as far as I know of, mai waifu couldn't even give a second's crap-worth of concern to anyone but Canaan in the last episode, to even waste time on "assaulting" your precious pitiful Maria next.

Mai waifu never needed pity/sympathy! I suggest you give it to someone else who really needs it.

Btw, as long as the man whom I entrusted her with still stands, mai waifu won't be going anywhere! (for the time being)

I also want to take note of Natsume revealing her true colors. If she somehow turns up to be the series' last boss, I wouldn't be surprised at all. Clearly, as the next episode preview implies, she's began to make her own move; with her intentions still uncertain. (I've always hated two-faced characters like her.. I knew she's one never to be trusted; Her semblance says it all!)

You must be aware that not everyone has a story to tell, may it be of a horrible past/experience or a fairy-tale-like-wonderland of sort. It doesn’t make her less human, but since I don’t know her background, I can’t approve of her character, actions, anything. It might have been different (at least in my case) if she were to get proper background story.
Not to mention that she’s rather important character, I can’t deny this (at least since episode 10, considering the results of her actions). And her character has considerable amount of influence to the story, so I guess her past would be relevant to the entire plot.
She’s yandere with a blackflip twist remodeled 2.1 version psycho style. :wink:

Not quite. You see, Canaan was already physically shaken up twice by Alphard in episodes 4 & 9. I enjoyed those parts very much, similarly as to when Liang beat the crap out of Maria in episode 6. However, yours were merely but suggestions as Liang has never taken any damage (wound, bruise, etc) upon her body. Mentally and emotionally however, she's taken in quite plenty and thus you hated her even more. I just don't think we're on equal grounds yet.

Since Liang Qi is so much shaken, someone should ease her pain and kill her off. It’s for her own sake, I’m serious!
Oh well, I get your point, just one correction: My hate towards her isn’t increasing because she takes more and more damage. It results from her reactions to this damage. Take Canaan – she got seriously her ass owned by Alphard in ep 9 but doesn’t bitch about rage, love, facekicking Alphard or any other form of revenge or feeling. And now take Liang Qi, who got her helicopter shot and her almost whole appearance in the following episode was about love, Canaan, nee-san and this crap.

HA! The part I admitted might be wrong and I might have had the right feeling. My prediction of actions after ep 10: Natsume will try to shoot Maria, Yunyun saves her by getting the bullet (since she thinks she’s dead anyways), Canaan comes to them and goes into revenge mode, thus my feeling will be right. *crossing fingers and praying* :lol:

Alright...sorry for the delay/lack of posting over the last week. College has been taking up most of my free time, (as well as a new pc...teehee), but I finally got around to watching episodes 9 and 10. So...here's my two cents...or 200 dollars, since these last two episodes have been exceptional.

Alright, so...we find out who those weird dudes in the animal heads were at the beginning of the series: The Unblooms. The people that couldn't handle the UA virus. The rejects. Man...that must have really torn up Hakko inside. I mean, realizing that you could have ended up just like some of your neighbors, your friends, your family, but didn't, and are left alone to accept the reality? I definitely wouldn't have made it through that.

And, on that note, even though I enjoy the rest of the cast, these last two episodes have all been about Hakko and Santana. I mean, Santana has been living with the regret of first spreading the virus, and then keeping that information hidden from the public eye just so that he could take Hakko away. That must have been eating away at him for a long time. However, he met an untimely demise. That scene...god...one of the most tragic yet beautiful death sequences I've ever laid eyes upon. Santana on his last leg, and him just begging to Hakko for her to tell him that he loved her, even though that put the last nail in his coffin. And her dragging him around, saying I love you over and over? God...exceptional series is exceptional.

So yeah...Li Quang is a totally crazy bitch, but I'm glad that Alphard is letting her live. She definitely keeps things interesting.

And the end of episode 10 was also quite shocking, with the revelation of the real reason why the UA virus was administered: In order to make another Canaan. And those...I guess you can call them clones...under the ice? Totally reminded me of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Wonderful. I can't fucking wait to see how this ends up.

You know how much I appreciate your posting. You're one of the main reasons as to why we've managed to keep a so called discussion going on for this series. I certainly hope that college responsibilities wouldn't completely take you away from this thread, esp when the series is just about over. :(

I loved the way you loved Santana's way of going out plus you didn't persecute my Liang for it, and although you called her a crazy bitch... I'll let you off since you mentioned something about this series being exceptional. 8)

I still can't help but laugh whenever I think about how foolish Hakko was in the last episode!
Seems like Liang couldn't help it either :lol:

You mistook appreciation for pity there mate. I really like her. My favorite character of the series s far ... with the honorable mention of a certain taxi driver.

Oh and as far as pics are concerned ... two of my recent favs. For different reasons.

Wow, i never played 428, but im fully aware that Type Moon had at least SOME part in making this awesome anime, Reminds me of Tsukihime a bit, i dunno why, probabaly because of the Yandere (Liang Qi) and the blood (Ua virus and wutnot)


finally that Liang Qi bitch died, but ..........................holy crap i felt empathetic

Well...just watched episode 11...I really don't like to repeat myself, but damn, this show does keep on getting better and better as the episodes pass. This episode, entitled, "Thoughts," definitely had me thinking, at any rate.

So...we finally learned the name of my mysterious woman who was working with Canaan: Yuri Natsume, I believe. And it figures that she was just using Canaan to get the data so that the government could whip up some of the Borner's themselves and use em for whatever they damn well please. Nice cover-up by Yuri there, too, with the destruction of the lab.

I also felt that Liang Qi's death was one of the most appropriate plot twists I've ever scene. I was just fitting that she met her demise by becoming what she hated. It was unfortunate that Alphard didn't kill her off herself, but her quote at the end of that scene was oddly appropriate: "Love is so annoying."

Speaking of that scene though...I loved it. The action was spot-on, and I loved how turned out Liang Qi was during the scene. I just sooo badly want some doujinshi with her and Alphard in that sexy outfit of hers...*licks lips.

I also found Hakko's end to be quite fitting to her character as well...even though it was slightly creepy. Incredibly understandable, but still creepy. I'm glad that those two were able to go out together, though. Such a bummer for Mino, though.

So...looks like next week we are getting the backstory between Canaan and Alphard. Can't wait. ^_^

By all means, go right ahead and watch this outstanding yet heart-wrenching series!

I've never felt so down from watching something this remarkable before. I'm still currently at a loss, really... and it's already been a day since I've seen the 11th episode, when it'd usually only take me a good night's rest to get over such things. I've got all my emotions mixed and pent-up that I just don't know what to write/say about. The thing about those few details being minor comes within the fact that they are irrelevant and quite separable to the main plot. While I'd definitely hate to admit it, Liang was without a doubt but a minor character in the whole story. Yes, I know. Maybe I am but even so, Canaan has always been mai late waifu's despair/suffering and it pains me ever so deeply to still see her out there, knowing that Liang passed away believing in such a lie. Natsume, meanwhile, is someone who betrayed mai dearly departed waifu and that's when things have gotten a bit sour... Or do you seriously believe that I'd be able to put the blame on Alphard?

Nice cover-up by Yuri there, too, with the destruction of the lab.

And don't forget that it was all in Alphard's best interest.

I also felt that Liang Qi's death was one of the most appropriate plot twists I've ever scene. I was just fitting that she met her demise by becoming what she hated. It was unfortunate that Alphard didn't kill her off herself, but her quote at the end of that scene was oddly appropriate: "Love is so annoying."

It was ironic that LOVE would end her life and that the man who loves her the most (next to me of course) was the one who would put her to rest. It was actually quite a blessing in disguise that, for all she knew, she had died as Canaan. I was very much relieved to see her go peacefully rather than of what the other guys here have initially wanted.

Alphard saying "love's annoying" was definitely funny, although I wasn't really able to laugh at that time. It was such a fitting conclusion to that particular chapter; as Cummings lets out a scream while the door shuts close.

I also found Hakko's end to be quite fitting to her character as well...even though it was slightly creepy. Incredibly understandable, but still creepy. I'm glad that those two were able to go out together, though. Such a bummer for Mino, though.

Awesome, but not as much as Liang's. At least she was able to redeem herself in my eyes, for acting so ridiculously stupid in the last episode. Anyway, despite my previous sentiments, I truly loved this episode that was filled with so much LOVE!

Btw, Cummings never betrayed my expectations and for that, I owe him a bullet.

I'm getting quite irritated about her being so hooked up with canaan. (goddammit she'll start a religon for her) And her tendency to say "amazing!" got her points dropped to annoyance in the short 2 days i've watched canaan (yay for lifelss anime rush)

Commentless towards her(prolly forever) in epi 11. Could've given the precious screen time to the other case.

I didn't want him to die. It was mind fuck for me but yet again i got a glimpse of it coming when Liang ate the "power pills" pacman eats for breakfast.

Sister complex got Liang good. Madness that i enjoyed and warped love which may very well be the next thing i start looking for in future animes to come. I'll miss her BB gun senario with cummings.

Respect him. He's by far the coolest M i've seen in animes. LOVE FOREVER!!

What, you serious?! At least in episode 11, I would say that he was with the way that he had convinced Maria to stay put, though I really wish he didn't, which should have brought Maria's death rate considerably higher!

Siscom? It goes far beyond that I'd say but not that any of it even matters anymore. However, it's rather nice to see someone who seems to have enjoyed every single BB gun sequence there was in between Liang and Cummings.

That's what the POWER OF LOVE is all about! Withstanding all the pain that can ever be inflicted to you by that one person whom you really care so much about. While I do admire him a bit, I don't quite respect him all that much.

Just watched episode 12 and all i have to say is.....


WOW

That has to be the most thrilling, suspenseful and meaningful episode in the series. I can't wait to see what unravels next episode!

I'm only feeling the after-effects of my out of town get-together with my relatives to celebrate my mom's b'day, a day & a night after forgetting to do some stretches before jumping into the pool, playing hoops, and singing my lungs out in karaoke; I'm really exhausted! :lol: And after watching this latest "breathtaking" episode, I only grew even more spent... so this is only what I'd be posting for now:
