Wasn't a great episode, with Saya whining and bitching so much, and not much action/fanservice either.

Ep.10 was pretty solid, with some nice character development mashed in.
I like how they've handled Hirano's particulary, as well as how his friends stand up for him in the front of Alucard Takagi's dad.
Speaking of Takagi...
The Bounty's Mutiny was also a pretty anecdote regarding the group, and goes to show as to just how much did the world change. Their little safe haven may seem nice now, but it can later affect their chances for survival by them getting complacent due to all the luxuries and fact that they don't have to fight, on account being "children" to adults leading the group (just how Bounty's sailors supposedly lost their discipline after spending half-a year in Thai) - which they can't afford if they want to survive on their own, or even at all.
Now, I'm eagerly awaiting the moment when the group will have it's showdown with the creepy little teacher guy.

Well, this is interesting. I wonder if it will be some kind of closure or an OVA of something that happened during the middle of the series that was originally skipped.

I felt like a lot was left out, even without having read the manga. Still, a lot of good development as well as the revelation of why Rei flunked a grade. The scene with the Space Station was pretty cool too.

Spoiler:
I can't believe that next week is the last episode, (until the OVA comes out). I'm definitely going to start reading the manga then.

Ep 11 was ok, Rei confessing to Takagi, creepy teacher shows up, Rei threatens to kill him, he gets ordered to take his evil bus elsewhere; and next week is the last episode!
Guess I gotta start reading the manga as well!
Hope there will be a second season!!

There should be. They're only half way through the manga.

I know this is kinda stupid to think this because I have not read the manga but how can there be a second season when it looks like the world is going to be nuked in the next episode? What if the director of the anime decided to give the manga the finger and nuke the ending so they don't have to make a second season? It looks as though Komuro and the gang are pretty much fucked IMO.

I finally caught up to both episodes 10 and 11. Finally the series ED songs shape up to something that's more hardcore for the zombie apocalyse than its earlier, wimpy, and pop-ish songs.
As for episode 10, I was thinking, "Rage much, bitch much?" Takashi went off the hook on that one.
As for episode 11, I finally get to see Shido get his just desserts, him and the rest of the sleazeballs. Also Rei finally stops being an annoying bitch and becomes more mature. I like where their relationship is going, even though I love Saeko.
The last part after the credits was well played. It gave a macro-like perspective on people that have not been infected and how they viewed the world as the "disease" unfolded and wreaked havoc. The fact that they are witnesses to the launching of nuclear missiles kinda drives home the point that nothing will ever be the same anymore, similar to the point that our main characters have realized after failing to convince the ignorant civilians in the tent.
I still don't know what the point of launching those nukes are for other than to prevent sabotage from other nations and other potential threats. Or maybe because I don't remember how the manga played out.

They did mention Armageddon so nukes might follow afterwards.

So without being able figure out what cause the outbreak, and all the nations of the world on the brink of ceasing to exist, major powers suspect other nations as the cause of the outbreak. Ergo, they retaliate.

Like I said, for what purpose? EMPize all electronics for further confusion? I gotta say if that was the reason, it's a dumb one. Neko-chan's reason makes more sense.
