It doesnt matter to me, It would be a plus sure, because I think i suck at the whole "sex" thing lol, ive only been with two people in that field, but hopefully it goes away when you find the right guy, as long as hes fine and is good to you, it should pass.

I used to be turned off by the idea of dating a girl who wasn't a virgin, but now the idea doesn't really bother me. I think it was based on when I believed the whole shmeal that you should only lose your virginity out of love and stuff, while I still personally feel that way I'm not going to not date someone just because they might have had sex in a previous relationship or even casual sex.

Well, I kinda see what he means. See, if X is not a virgin anymore, means she already gave herself to somebody at least once, and it clearly wasn't thought out enough seeing as the relationship does not currently stand. See where i'm getting at?

I call it daydreaming. No relationship lasts forever. People pick a wrong partner, split up, they get over it.

This romantic thinking is not realistic imo. How many people do you know who are still together with their first partner?

That wasn't the point, nash. Picking the wrong partner is perfectly normal, it happens. But to have sex with a person is, from my standards, something only to be done in an advanced state of the relationship. And for a person to have lost his/her virginity to the wrong person means he/she's easy to some extent. And that's what I was trying to convey that I despised.

What is "the wrong person", anyway? What may seem like "ms./mr. right" in that very moment can turn into some horrible nightmare some months or years later. Still, at that moment, it was "the right person" to you.

I mean, not everybody values their virginity as highly as you seem to do; in fact, most people want to get rid of it as soon as possible apparently. Well, that goes for guys, anyway. I wonder why? I see discrimination in there (lol, way to go off on a tangent, but that just crossed my mind)

tl;dr virginity is nothing special for me. Usually I even expect girls my age to not be virgins anymore.

I didn't totally dismiss the idea of dating a non-virgin though. Just that the thought of a person not being virgin instantly gives me a bad impression. But it can very well be needless worry, and prove to be a best relationship that any former.
