The great debate. Do you prefer watching dubbed anime? Or subbed anime? Subbed anime is in Japanese with English subtitles, dubbed anime is entirely English.
Are there are specific anime that could go one way or the other? Do you have a favorite dubbed anime? Or one that you absolutely hate?

was about to challenge anyone who said dubbed.. but everyones being good for now :P
I think it was seeing This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, which was one of my early favourites, get dubbed horrificly that i started to get a grudge against dubbed animes.
Some arent too bad though, but would rather take subs anyday

While there are some pretty good dubs out there (very few), subbed anime almost always wins for me.
Cowboy Bebop was an amazing dub.

I only liked 3 dubbed anime titles and they are Eureka 7, Cowboy Bebop, and the DBZ series. I mostly watch subbed anime.

I've said subbed anime. However, if the dub is good I'm indifferent, but fairly often dubs aren't particularly good.
Although on Black Lagoon it being English rather than Japanese dubbed makes a hell of a lot more sense.

The Lord of Butts!
Im split between those options.. If you take Dragonball Z the dub is like million times better than the jap voice imo.
But i prefer subbed animes over dubbed, because i like the japanese language in general
Im going for subbed.

For me, it's always gonna be subbed anme. I mean, for some reason, I cannot stand the voice actors for a dubbed series. And I always find it annoying that they can't seem to pronounce some names correctly.

I have no idea what people saw in the Gurren-Lagann dub. I watched it up until Kamina's death, and ragequitted.
Subs all the way.

Cowboy Bebop was a good anime in English, and I remember enjoying Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust in English as well :)
Other then that, I hate dubbed anime.

Subbed, for two reasons. First, english is not my natural languaje, it is a lot easier to see the subs than to decode de voice. Second, i just like a lot more most of the originals voices. The only 2 animes i have watched dubbed were Darker than Black, because at first i didn't see the Subbed results and Full Metal alchemist, because i have never found it subbed. If someone gives me a link to it, I'll appreciate it.

In most English dubs, for some reason everyone constantly seems to speak in this arrogant, haughty tone, no matter what they're saying. Interestingly enough, I've almost never had a problem with German dubs. Why the English-speaking VA can't speak normally, I'll never understand, especially when I can compare them to other similar work in American cartoons, for example Avatar, or in games. So subs are the somewhat obvious choice here.

Most of the time, Subbed but on VERY rare occasions dubbed. Only ran into this once but it was because I watched the anime when i was little and was more used to it I guess, the orignal japanese voices just sounded out of place when I rewatched it, never run into that problem anywhere else though lol
