I can't stand Subbed because, the Japanese voices are just too squeeky. I mostly like dubbed, but then again i don't really watch too much anime, only what happens to come on Adult Swim.

Obviously subbed, dubbed voices suck, not only in hentai but also in anime, it's like a totally different character just appeared in front of you.
sub = pwnage

Subbed preferred. Though there are times the DUBBED version is better than the subbed.
This is one of the best example.

i've prefer with the subtitle in english because when watching the movie, the original voice from the character in the movie like ex: haruhi... the cuteness of her voice is irreplaceable that's why her voice is not suitable with some stupid voice actor/ actress in english language.... that will ruin my mood to watching because the voice of dubbed is not match at all with the movie....
so in order to keep maintain the originating from the movie it self please, don't dubbed it... just subbed it.
of forgot one thing... we must really appreciate the seiyu for the movie... they work so hard to make the movie interesting with their lovely voice.(i prefer girl voice though) so if the movie was dubbed that's meaningless for all of the seiyu hard work...
maybe in some country you may having problem experience with the language in the movie that you don't understand and prefer with the dubbed one... either in english / spain, / etc...etc...
actually it's very simple... learn other language! and let the movie play with the subbed one... that's the only way to understand... you can concentrated way better on the movie, not just focus on the text/ subtitle on it.
once again i say: vote for subbed, Hell Yeah!!!

I watch sub not because it is the easier one to get but rather I English Dub ruins anime for me; There are even cases like the dub is way easier to get but I would rather spend the day doing something else or making a thorough search of subbed shows than watch dub. Same goes for games; I prefer to play the game with Jap voice and English text.

Subbed... not only anime, but movies too (I'm not English native)
I prefer the original voices, it's more like... natural to see :)

Ah, I forgot to say this. I had watched .hack//Roots on Youtube but I couldn't find English sub. And so, I decided to watch the Spain (if I'm not mistaken) subbed instead of English dubbed. I'd rather watch the original than the dubbed. Yeah, I hate dubbed THAT far. Oh yeah, I understood most of the story, since I've experience watching subbed Anime since I was in elementary school, so I've understood most of the conversation. The sub helped me about the name too.

Subs1- The preservation of the maiden language.
2- The Jokes that can be carried forward through wordplay.
3- The Genial and moe-moe nature of the voices are brought forth.
4- You can still get some seriously good voice acting even in 3rd rate works.
Dubs
1- Complete disregard for worksmanship.
2- Often displaces the point of the characters.
3- Bowlderized to hell.
4- Name changing (oh god!)
5- Narm like you've never seen before.
6- You only get second-third rate (For first rate, look in Hollywood).
7- You can count the number of times the words related to die in one hand.(varies)
8- 4kids.
9- Wordplay is thrown out the window.
10- Recycled People everywhere. (No voice variations...)
11- Theme Songs.
So how's life back in the 90s? The reason you'll almost never find anything that follows your whiny moments nowadays. Continue to prove my belief that most of you "sub fans" don't know a thing about what you're saying.
