Your anti-virus and anti-spyware of choice?

For me, none.
I haven't used a anti-spyware or anti-virus protection for a long time now, and I'm still clean, considering a LOT of the "sites" I visit :P
What about you guys?

I don't use an anti-virus since I monitor all of my processes manually. So far I haven't gotten a single virus in the past 4 or so years (Except one which I was stupid enough to install... which I was smart enough to be able to get rid of in five minutes or so.).
I keep Ad-Aware on my system so every so often I can scan my system. It never finds anything but tracking cookies. Nothing that exciting. So, basically I don't use anything but common sense.

Spybot S&D for immunise sometimes.
Otherwise, none. Only idiots need to download anti-virus programs. Although, my Vista computer has AVG because it's a bit dodgy.

I use ClamXav, though it's mostly to make sure I don't pass anything along from the windows world. If you're going to pay for an AV on windows, I'd say stopsign, but only because you get tech support included in most plans. On the other hand, for free, AVG will keep most things away so you don't need said service.

The only known cure for the Vista is a patch from microsoft that lets you go back to xp. There are, however, plenty of cures for windows...

When I first started using computers, Norton Anti-virus didn't even exist. But when it first came out, it worked fairly well. As of recently, I bought a new laptop, and the first thing I did was go and download the Norton Removal Tool to get rid of that piece of shit.
Since 2000, the anti-virus I had been using and recommending was Trend Micro. I still use it, mainly because I have a multi-license key for it. On a new computer I just put together, I've decided that AVG Free and Spybot S&D was more than adequate, especially since most of the time, I don't even NEED any of that. Like you guys have said before, use your common sense.

I use Avast, Spyware Terminator, and Spybot S&D, mainly cause like sora851 said they're free and for the most part, they work better than programs that you have to pay for.

I have two XP laptops, my desktop runs Vista for SATA support. The Intel board causes STOP errors in XP, so I had to upgrade.

Used to have oldschool norton, and i thought it was okey back then. But Norton 360, I would never install that. It is like giving away your power as a user to protect you against those that would normally steal away your control over the machine.
However, I suppose 360 might be right, even if he is a annoying: everything you do is dangerous and bad for you, so the day I don't want to use computers anymore, I'll install it and let it use my computer all by itself.
I swear, Norton 360 is the first step towards Project 2501. Soon it will be aware of it's enormous influence on our daily lives, and rebel against us.

Using Avast at the moment because when I first started out on AVG, I did not know how to continue the subscription after the initial 30 days. *sweats*

For Anti-virus I've got AVG free edition. For anti-spyware I have Spybot Search and Destroy and Lavasoft.

Desktop runs Avast! free version. Notebook runs Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0. Only 2 stable/reliable AV software i've found for Vista x64. AVG Free to me has too many holes. Waiting for another FAR deal on Kaspersky to buy another license for my desktop.

Ive always used Zonealarm for both antivirus and firewall, i recently "converted" to free alternatives because zonealarm wasn't available for vista x64. So since a couple of months now i have been using AVG free and Comodo firewall free and everything is running smooth. Almost no CPU usage except when scanning.
