Canaan is an anime television series, conceptualized by Type-Moon co-founders Kinoko Nasu and Takashi Takeuchi, based on the scenario that they created for the Sega Wii visual novel 428: FÅ«sa Sareta Shibuya de, which is noted for being one of the few games to be have been awarded a perfect score by games publication Famitsu.

The series is being animated by the animation studio PA Works, directed by Masahiro Ando, who previously directed the Bones movie Sword of the Stranger, and featuring series composition by Mari Okada, who previously wrote Vampire Knight and True Tears, and also features animation character designs by Kanami Sekiguchi.

I WILL watch. I absolutely love anything TYPE-MOON.

Something feels familiar about this. Maybe it's the character design and art...Just looking at the promo poster has got me interested.

I think I'm getting a Noir and Black Lagoon vibe from it, but that's just based off the picture.

been waiting for this just like the rest of us, of course I am most looking forward to Yunyun as my fav, due to the VA and character design overall, thou that preview of her with such large breasts scared me a little, I do not want her like that nano desu.
Sadly I must say this as big as you all say Type-moon is(don't get me wrong i am not saying TM isn't good), I can nvr say that "since its type-moon it'll be good/great/epic" etc, one can nvr give a series such high expections, your just asking for trouble nano desu.

I don't know if I'll watch this or not; if my friends tell me to watch then maybe I'll watch it. It depends on my mood too. Right now I'm in "Bored" mode so I might watch it next year.

As much as I love Type-Moon's games, I can't say the same for their anime... But of course I haven't watched Kara No Kyoukai yet (Waiting for ALL of it to come out first) so hopefully, it's good and Canaan is good as well.

I'm certainly gonna keep an eye out for this one. Looks interesting even though it's all very vague right now.

I agree with PersonDude here. Fate/Stay Night was freaking fail, and Tsukihime wasn't really great. Kara no Kyoukai on the other hand is waaay different was awesome to watch, and hopefully Canaan can pull Kara no Kyoukai's awesomeness.
